I've built the unit described in USB PIC Module with a PIC18F4550 and am currently using it as a glorified USB to midi converter to interface to a PIC core based on a 18F4620 running MIOS8 and MIDIbox64. It would be great to be able to get rid of the 2nd pic. Does your code support standard applications like MIDIbox64?
Do you still have a schematic and/or source file of the firmware I could have a look at? I would like to get someting like this working! I also saw your WizardFX project but my knowledge of the italian language is nil and the project is pretty big to start with...
If it works with 1 pot and 1 button, it will also work with more ones! Just place the appropriate MUX/DEMUX and matrix circuits, and you're nearly done! ;-)
I made my first electronics project (the GPMC) with 128 up to buttons and 32 pots this way; the video you've just seen is about remaking it to support MIDI over USB natively.
