  • awful, just an awful set. i wholeheartedly echo every word and statement made by TheTruthHurtsYup. your range of actual lat work and contraction is minimal from the amount of momentum gained by the back extension. there is no negative rep either cuz you cant control the weight at the top.

  • @goatz123 You explained what you were doing - in a word, a cheat set - in your video description. I basically agree with you: if most of your work of a given exercise uses good form, a cheat set is fine and can enable you to push harder - and maybe even thru a strength barrier.

  • Umm, this is NOT a lat pull down. You are pulling with your back first and then pulling your arms in while the weights have their up momentum. The weight are pwning you at the top cause you can't keep them up their at all. Either lift heavy with proper form or don't do it at all, you are just risking a injury to yourself and not gaining anymore strength or size doing it that way. There is a difference between explosive speed and just bad form to get a rep.
