Everyone is moaning about how everything is Apple, however if you look on his website it clearly states: 'My main focus is Apple Products but I touch other things from time to time'. Me personally, I don't look to my iPod touch for serious gaming. When someone says gaming on the iPod, i think of games like Bejeweled , Doodle Jump, Rope N Fly, Solitaire, and Bloons. Mostly simple games that I would play while waiting at the DMV or something to pass the time.

The one that I want is like a rubber grip that attaches to the back and gives the device an ergonomic design (like the first gen PSP or similar shaped devices). I can't remember what it's called but you can get it on WalMrat's website.

Why is everybody so obsessed to turn the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad into a gaming device?

- The iPhone/iPad is up to 3 times as expensive as an XBox

- It has a tiny screen

- It has no proper games

- It has no proper controls

It's just not made for gaming.

Yes I understand that when people are on a train/plane and are bored it comes in handy. But playing at home and buying game accessories etc. for it... I just don't understand it. I think i't just the hype that makes people go for it.

@SoldierKnowsBest I'm comparing the the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to the Xbox because of the price you pay and the gaming experience you get in return. And as of yet, they can't even live up to the DS or PSP, simply because touch screens are not made for gaming. It's the hype that makes people buy the games and the dev teams who see a gold mine in it. But at this stage, it's not worth it.

If Apple brings out it's gaming addon like the iControllPad then it is able to live up to the DS and PSP.
