although everyone's points about the crew's technique are to a greater or lesser extent true, I think their words are overly harsh. I mean, as if they never went through a stage of learning as this crew obviously is! Keep up the good work, maybe have a go in smaller boats (singles, pairs) to develop your skills, but other than that, keep enjoying the rowing.
there is no reason why your blades should hit the water thats just lazy or you need to inccrease the heights in the boat but it doesnt look like that. Dont rate so high rate around 20spm and get it right. The crews stroke is much too short to go anywhere the crew need to know that a long stroke is much more effective and they just look like they are moving up and down the slide not really putting any effort in.
you need to get your catches sorted your missing way too much water. You need to make sure everyone is in time 3 and 4 are often out of time. You need to make sure your blades are buried you shouldnt see any blade and you need to keep the blade in the water throughout the entire stroke or you may aswel be rowing half slide. Stroke seat needs to hold the end of the oar and put her pinky on the end to apply button pressure.
eights are bitch for having to rely on so many people :/

We need to spend a lot more time rowing on the square to get our recoveries straightened out.
