  • I have know this man my whole life, he is the real deal...no HGH, no steriods etc..This is the result of hard work, dedication and knowing how to work for and with his body to achieve health, strength and results. I'd say that if people had half as much dedication to health and what they put into their bodies, they too could achieve amazing results.

  • Jeanlucaandre is a fucking dumb idiot... What a waste of a degree... Paul Chek's form is impeccable on the deadlift db throw... Paul Chek has great hip mobility and you can see on the eccentric part his Lumbar spine is stabilized and he's obsorbing all the force in his hip flexion with his quads. Then on the concentic part he explodes with his glutes and hamstring into hip extension to fire up his lower body... There is no movement in his Lumbar spine genius.

  • Well funny you say that I am not very educated, what is your own education in health care and sports ? :)

    The main difference with deadlift is the ballistic component, it is difficult to keep the spine perfectly neutral when you have poor control on the weight because you throw it, , you can do it well 99 times and one time you're tired you throw it a bit more in front or on the sides and you hurt your spine. This exercise is fine with a medecine ball but definitly not with a heavy dumbell.

  • This man is quite famous in his field... but I definitly don't understand why he's showing such a bad exemple of training just to show people that he is in shape; which is a bit ridiculous, but throwing an heavy dumbell as he does is extremely dangerous for the back, I am a physiotherapist so I know what I am talking about.

    You mustn't be very well educated in your field because otherwise you'd recognize his spine is completely neutral throughout the entire lift and the weight is being partially caught by the legs. If you say this is dangerous you'd probably say that about deadlifts and olympic lifts.

  • A lot of nasty comments here but hey ho its a free world lol I have one friend who is in this kind of shape who does not take any drugs, the fact is he is the hardest training guy in our gym and he is 56, he trains instead of talks and keeps his intensity hi. Too many people looking for a quick fix me thinks!

  • Actually what you see in that video is the product of genetics + a baseline level of exercise stimulation. Not one man in 10 has the genetic potential to look like that, and you'll notice that few, if any of his practitioners come anywhere close.

  • Why has Paul Chek gone from using high quality Swiss balls to cheaper Togu swiss balls? That often dirty five letter word still dominates decisions,and not necessarily what is common sense- unless i am barking up the wrong tree- doubt it though. I remember going to one of Pauls lectures years ago and he said that if you pay people enough they will tell you that rotten potatoes will make you run faster. At least now, he can understand truly what that means - probably.

    Quality is important.

Primal movements (lunge, push, pull, squat and some twitsting?). Did you have any clue why he picked the order he did? Can you rationalize why the circuit is stupid?

  • Any estimation of the various weights used? Also, that kneeling swissball bodyblade exersize is no joke. His legs can lunge while swinging a clubbell like that because his neuromuscular system is fully charged and through the roof. I think if I tried one of those pullups I might break my arm.

  • Chi is real if you believe in it. Those of you commenting about him going off the deep end are probably devoid of spirirtuality and are close minded, your're not wrong for it, it just is. But you don't have to dog him for what he believes is helpful to others, Bruce Lee believed in chi, and I don't think he went off the deep end. It's usually not good to negatively share your feelings if it isn't constructive.

  • Paul check is good, he inovated the way we do core conditioning, the only thing I dont like is his new focus on them merdians and chi energy stuff cos i dont really believe in it, BUT his conditioning science is GREAT

  • well 6 Pack i didn't see anywhere in the video that he claimed to be a professional body builder. He's also using unconventional methods to build muscle and cut fat so of course his legs are going to be a little bit smaller because there is not a use of squat. However some people aren't built to have huge legs. And the most important thing you need to look at is that this guy is cut up not massive. 1 more thing...176 lbs or 80 kilos as you put it IS SMALL!!! Don't be a douche!!!

He was " pissed off" concerned about "assholes". It was the most profane and irrelevant sessions I`ve ever attended as a personal trainer. I spent money and effort to attend.
