! I'm a pilot working for KLM flying 747s. It's totally possible to land a plane perfectly with ILS! Probably Because you aren't a real pilot anyway. ILS is just to decrease the pilots workload for the approach. In some cases, when the ILS is down, or the airport isn't equipped with the right equipment, the pilot has to make a visual approach.

@TheHouseBill This happened to me sometimes when the plane has no any panel available, so when you switch to the cockpit view you see the front of the plane view. Try with another aircraft or simply download the specific panel for the plane.

you have to download the plane extract the files and then insert the planes folder into the aircraft folder witch is inside the data folder witch is inside the flightgear folder or just google install planes on flight gear

@MrA7X10 lol not true, it depends. if you have an old mac, they run slow, if you have an old pc, they run slow. but if you have an awesome new mac, or an awesome new pc, they're really fast. (don't forget the awesomenss factor. that's the most important part)

En la opcion que dice AVI File, pon el Video Compressor en XviD MPEG-4 Codec y en Frame Compression quality ponlo en 100%. Tambien el la parte que dice Rate in Frames per Second, Record cambialo a 15 o a 20 si quieres, pero de pronto se puede acelerar mas de lo normal el video cuando lo grabes.

Same here. I bought Fraps but still lagging. I have downloaded HyperCam 2 and looks fine so i stick with HyperCam 2. Sometimes i get lag while recording, but i need a better program to record videos.

I am flying with the A320. I fly Colombia - Northern and Central America and i have flown to Spain today tuesday. It was a long day.

Finally i am at home again.

Wow, so both of us fly airbuses. :P I wish I can fly yours. The A380 is sometimes difficult to land due to its size, especially crosswind. I have overshooted many times during crosswind landing :-\ Sigh, but i'm still honored to be flying their A380. How about you? Have you ever tried piloting an A380?

Yes, but only for one day because this aircraft is too difficult to land, but it was a nice landing. This was 8 months ago in Europe. I used to fly the Fokker 100 and the Boeing 737 800 and in the next year i am going to fly the A330. On the last tuesday, i recieved the notice that i am going to fly the A330 due to my flight to Spain.

!!! The 737-800 was my training aircraft. It was the first aircraft that I actually flew. I remember my instructor telling me, "Okay, our take off speed is 132 but if only one engine, 143". Hehe! I remember the old days.

Cool! My first training aircraft was the Fokker 100. Also i remember when i did my first ILS landing 8 years ago when i was 20. I am gonna be flying all the night to Panama and then to Miami and finally back to Colombia.

Haha, the fokker 100. Why that airplane? Well nowadays, airline companies are saving fuel and commenced our training using simulators. But, for qualified Singapore Airline pilots, we do one practice round the airport (Take off and land) before we begin our real flight.

I'm gonna put up my own Flightgear video. Citation X landing. The A380 that i'm familiar with had no 3D cockpit in Flightgear and hence, I couldn't land it properly. This is why I chose the Citation X.
