  • Hi richluvsellie

Please feel free to contact our customer service in U.S.A.

    The number is (909)923-2828

    Thanks.

  • Thank you for your response it helped me pick out the rod, I have it coming in the mail! I'll let you know how it turns out.

  • Hello Okuma I just purchased the serrano on Aug. 18 for my b-day I was wondering if the 7'2'' XH C3 Rod a (ok size) for heavy inshore saltwater fishing??? If you could respond to this it would be appreciated, I planned on putting the Serrano on the C3 rod too. Like some personal prefferences cause I planned on using it to catch big reds and tarpon and snook.etc. -Mitchell T.

  • @EGOTTLIEB12 Hi Mitchell, that rod should work fine for inshore fishing. I fish calicos on the West Coast, but I prefer longer rods and so I fish the C3-C-7111XH swimbait rod. Both are great rods and should work for your application. --Brandon, Okuma Fishing Tackle..

  • how far can this reel cast?

  • @aaabball415 I stand corrected, i was messing around with the V.B.S on my serrano sr 200w the other day and i found out if you were to put the braking system between the 1 and 2 it will cast alot further. Note there's only 1 through 6 on the settings but mine stayed in between. Remember don't chunk it hard, just sway it gently, i was surprised to see the little 8oz lure go so far.

  • why dont okuma make a serrano for right hander that reel with their left????

  • are you guys fishing the st. lucie inlet in this video?

  • Just got mine in today (serrano sr 200w), I'll put it through the paces this year of Texas saltwater fishing, and let you guys know how it stands up to the comp.

  • @expressit101

    Nice.

  • I have owned mine for awhile now and there's two things i don't like about the Okuma serrano sr 200w, 1st: It's really hard to get a good grip to slide open the left sideplate to adjust the V.B.S. 2nd: Various silver looking plated parts will get corroded, reducing the appearance. But other than that time can only tell.
