  • the khmer government could do much more help its people.....but it does'nt....

  • and yet, way better than lady gaga.

  • I love Cambodian traditional music.

  • gave these lot a couple of dollars last month, god bless em

    humble wonderful people.

  • I saw this group during my visit to Ta Prom in Nov '08. Their beautiful music playing brought tears to my eyes :(

  • Pretty sure I was at Ta Prohm, Siem Reap, when I saw them. They weren't openly begging like the others following you around

  • Beautiful music!

  • I remember them when I went to Angkor Wat too. They were great! Hope their stickin it out in Srok Khmer. N donate sum money if you ever pass by them.

  • do you guys have any idea of how much money these guys make? their cds are 15.00 each and the westerners buy them like crazy in siem reap. they make a thousand times more than the average cambodian everyday. im ot hating im just saying damnnn

  • I remember them. Lucky u took the video cuz i wanted to but could'nt find me camera. LOL u did what i wanted to do Kool.

  • a deaf blind hungary paralyzed drugged out illiterate bastard cambodian should never fret he

should still hold his head high to the skies & smile for he has one thing many others do not a rich deep powerful & enigmatic history & past.

  • c'mon. Cambodian people has suffer a tumultuous violence past. Give them some credit. Plus not many social programs to support those unfortunate ones. Time will come

  • right, give them some credit. 30 years of war are more then enough.

  • i remembered they had a sign that said" we're not beggar but musicans trying to earn a little respect." that's powerful because cambodia has become a nation of beggars... it's fucking pathetic.. i'm glad these guys have some dignity...bravo

  • yeah well for some its either lose your dignity or starve.

  • Thats true, some work and still dont even have enough to feed themselves let alone their family. Kampuchea has become a nation of beggers because they are neglected by the gov. Not enough jobs, no land, no medical care, nothing.

  • This was one trip that brought tears to my eyes 2 months ago. This is no reason to avoid Cambodia, but it is not a relaxing vacation destination to put it lightly. I was looking for adventure and found it though it felt risky and frightening traveling on land via Aran/Poipet and then a Toyota to Siem Reap down the undeveloped highway (sealing the road is less than half completed though in process) as corruptions run rampant in the country. The leadership take all in this country...

  • The only real help these people get are from outside organisations. My main concern are for the future and well-being of the young children. If their safety and health are not guaranteed, the continuation of a Khmer nation is nonexistent.

  • yeah i saw them too, i thought they were great i gave em sum money too

  • I've been there too. Every time a tourist walk by, and past, you will see them play the music. I gave them a couple of dollars.

  • hey, i kno those guys, they were there when i went to angkor wat.. they let my dad bang the drum for a lil bit
