Yeah... They tried that with me too. I had the console out in front of my TV on a hardwood floor, and it would freeze just like yours. It would play fine without the HD though. Only had the thing 40 days.
They 1st had me send in the HD for repair, and it froze the first time I plugged it in when I got it back, and I called them up and basically lost it. lol. I got a brand new one. yay. HD + Console.

This is not normal for the Xbox. The original XBOX was great. Try the PS3 or even the Wii. You will see that they don't do this. I miss Halo 3 but I don't miss the major problem I had with the 360.

To fix the 3 red lights go to threeredlight,com (put a period and not a comma). It fixed mine, took me about an hour and a half, no more freezing.

i dont kno if u guys found out, its just the game, every copy of Dead rising freezes, trust me happens to me a lot just for the game, also for my friends, and other people, its not ur xbox just the game.

for nybody saying premiums or elites dont freeze, bleeve me i thot da same thing- i was like ok cool ill git an elite and it wont die becuz its better- well i was rong- ive had it 4 4 months and it went red rings on me yesterday after multiple freezes

This is not normal for the Xbox. The original XBOX was great. Try the PS3 or even the Wii. You will see that they don't do this. I miss Halo 3 but I don't miss the major problem I had with the 360.
