  • SLOOOWWW DOOOWWWWNNNNNN

  • @NashiNashii I know, I kind of feel bad in a way. He probably has bi polar and forgot his meds. Not to joke, but I'm serious.

I like unique people though. I feel kind of outcasted b/c of how nerdy and hyper, but to be honest a lot of people do have mental issues and take it out on their craft.

  • @loweryourphonebill I meant to say how nerdy and hyper I am and craft meaning more the arts

  • @loweryourphonebill

Mm. Welp- he seems like a nice dude so I ain't complainin'.

  • My kids and I love this guy. he's funny as hell in I wanna hold your hand and 1941 with the puppet in the Ferris wheel scene. I don't know why this guy didn't get lead parts. He has a wonderful nerdy character humor about him. and though it's usually goofy, he has kind of this other character with a deep voice you might of seen in I wanna hold your hand (Elevator scene I think).

  • hahahahaha he is so funny really !!!!!

He was in a commercial a while back:

"Yeah, we can do two colors, black and white...HA-A-A-A-A-A-A-A..." : )

Also the movie, The Rosebud Beach Hotel:

"Lord Nexus, you found me !!!! But you won't get me!!!"

  • He has A LOT of energy... he's weird, in a cool way... lol, it didn't surprise me to find out that he's a scientologist.

  • OMG, not only does his voice sound exactly like Mandark, but he really does talk that quickly and sound that nerdy and annoying. I can't imagine being married to him. I'd probably hit him with a couch cushion every time he started talking. Great voice actor though.

  • I agree with Eddie, humor isn't Speilbergs thing especially since he stoops to kiddy humor.

  • EDDIE DEEZEN!!<3

  • Mandark finally entered puberty

  • XD lolz

  • Now that I read these texts you can tell who the younger people are.

To me he was the nerd from Greese and Midnight Run with his "gang" of nerds on white or black Mopeds.

    Guy is still a legend.

  • The nerd of all nerds and he made a good living at it.

God bless him, he is great.

  • Mandark's voice broke :O

  • Good lord, watch his hands throughout the video. They don't stop.

He actually cups his ear when he says that Zemeckis "has an ear for comedy". THAT is why he's a legend.

  • Eddie was the nerdy kid 4 houses up the street from me. His mom, Irma, is the BEST. She was my French teacher in junior high.

  • I take it you lived in or around Cumberland/Cresaptown? I could probably get into exact addresses here, but I won't! Eddie is extremely funny and underrated!

  • We lived in LaVale, a suburb of Cumb. William H. Macy is the other "LaVale" celebrity.

Eddie's last name is spelled Dezen in real life, an Anglicization of the original Russian spelling.

He made a deal with his Dad to use his freshman college money to give Hollywood a shot, got "gonged" off the Gong Show, and the rest is sort of history.

Besides "Grease", most people I meet remember his ferris wheel routine from "1941."

Trust me, he's mostly just being himself.

  • wow that's awesome! you actually lived NEXT 2 eddie deezen?!?! AWESOMENESS let me guess...was that before he was famou? YEP =D lol I LOVE EDDIE (he needs to get into more shows!!! =D yeah, it would be awesomeness if he was on the Polar Express Two =D)

  • FROGGY!

haha watch the MST3K version of "Laser Blast"

  • "Illegal use of an Eddie Deezen!" Man, the riffs on that episode was legenday.

    Long live Mandark!

  • Fuckin MANDARK!!!!

  • Echhh, it's Mandark! AAAH! I can't listen to this... It's nice that he gave a little nod in that direction though.

  • I think he has A.D.H.D most for sure

  • I Wanna Hold your Hand and Midnight Madness !!! Love this guy !!!

    Hello, from Brazil

  • ah so Martin Brest directed that scene in WarGames. He was replaced by John Badham.

  • His voice when he puts on more, sounds just like Greg the Bunny. Like when he was in "A Polish Vampire in Burbank."

  • His role in "A Polish Vampire In Burbank," for the most part, was looped by Mark Pirro, since Deezen had to leave the project prematurely.

  • It was a compound word in the title :-\

  • His best part is in one of the funniest movies of all time. It's called The Whoopee Boys. There are some scenes on youtube to view. Do a search for "Whoopee Boys" obviously. Comedic genius from Paul Rodriguez and Eddie. Check them out and try and find the movie. You will seriously laugh your ass off.

  • Man, his voice is so recognizable, along with other voices such as Gilbert Gottfried, JIm Cummings, and Charlie Adler. :-)

  • ooh that laughter.... that chortle.

from that day forward i vowed to have my revenge.

i would become the greatest evil genius the world had ever seen.

but first i would have to change my name... no longer would i be known as "susan"!

i needed a name that would symbolize the darkness and evil inside me.

*places bowl on head, cuts hair, dons cape*

    MANDARK!!! *THUNDER AND LIGHTNING*

AH HA HA! HA HA HA HA!!!

  • NERDS!

  • Yes i am lol

  • mandark out of dexters lab lol

    and hes in polar express

    :)

  • He allowed me to interview him for a friend's website. Eddie is so gracious and he talked about his roles in "Grease" and "The Polar Express". It was wonderful speaking with him. Yes, he does speak very fast! I wish him the very best and want to see him in another film soon! Somebody give this man a job!

  • Deezen's the GREATEST!

  • I loved his role in 1941, been a fan ever since.

  • Damn he can talk fast

  • mandark!! ha ha ha.... ha ha ha ha ha

  • does this guy ever age?

  • midnight madness!!!!!

  • A STRATEGY BOARD! during the war, when i worked for the government, i worked on the strategy board!

  • Alright!! "Mister Potato Head! Mister Potato Head! Back doors are not secrets!" Deezen rocks. .. and has rocked consistently for a little under 30 years now.

  • omg mandark??????

  • Did he voice Snipes in Rock-a-Doodle and Know-it-All in The Polar Express?

  • yes..

  • Eddie is the man! There is no better person to play a nerd, either in a movie or in a commercial. Who agrees? Remember him as the janitor in Punky Brewster?

  • So this is Eddie, man he's a natural chatterbox.

  • Jesus, Eddie needs to cut down on the coffee. Never seen someone so hyperactive.

  • IT'S MANDARK! HA HAHA HA HAHA HA HAHA

  • eddie deezen is from cumberland, maryland which is close to me. he graduated from high school with my mothers brother.

  • I wonder what Tarantino could do with Deezen. Seriously.

  • yeah. Tarantino could help-orchestrate a Much-Deserved Comeback. loved-Eddie in "1941" and especially "I wanna hold Your Hand".

  • LOL I wasn't sure anyone in the world would agree with me on the Tarantino thing. I'm flattered that, as I write this, I've gotten +3 on my earlier comment.

  • look what Tarantino did with Kurt Russell in "GrindHouse" ("DeathProof"/"ThunderBolt") ... imagine Eddie Deezen playing An "Evil" Character (such as a Psycho/Schitzo/SerialKiller).

  • Eddie is so down to earth nice person! I like his acting in Mob Boss. Could anyone to upload the episode from this film, please?
