i live in new zealand the little clean green country that is nuculer free. but we put cell phone towers up anywhere. we are just battling to stop one being put up outside our school. they said they would move it ,but get this seventy metres from school fence.but right next door to friends house. new zealand radiation levels are between 450-1000 megaW/cm2

I made the BIGGEST fuss when I saw them putting one up on Burgundy and... No, was it Dauphine?? I think so; it was near Matassa's. I remember I was getting some eggs and saw some guys putting one up. I told them it was ugly and that our fogie old neighborhood doesn't need that bullshit and that they might serve a more "hip" city. Funny, though, that I actually had some real validity to my anger. But, yeah, we don't need that shit in a neighborhood 13 blocks wide and 6 blocks deep.

Highly recommend. Very informative. Sad how Mayor Ray Nagin and his crony Larry Hesdoffer, Director of Vieux Carre Commission are destroying the soul of New Orleans by these horribly disguised cell phone towers. What a disgrace!
