I remember this ride. When the time came when you would go on the computer in front of you and make your own future, my car along with about 10 others didnt work. Disappointing, but for some reason still worth the wait! ;)

@kiwininja100 Don't worry. Stops are normal when getting a disabled person on the ride. Last time I was at Disney World, Spash Mountain had some momentary stops due to log jams, especially at waterfalls and the climb to the top of Chick-A-Pin Hill, which is the big splashdown. There is a brake system that takes one boat up at a time and makes a loud, squeaky whistle each time it does.

i love how disney does their dark rides... universal's and other theme park dark rides are very... oh... CHEAP!

i've never been on a better non-boring water ride than splash mountain! dark rides are my favorite.. only at disney world.

@Edawg649 I got a video last time I went when the ride stopped for a few minutes between the old computers and the garage scene. When I got off I asked why the ride stopped, and the cast member told me they had to get a handicapped person on. It doesn't move slowly enough to do it without stopping the ride to get the person settled. Picture: to get someone from a wheelchair onto Spaceship Earth, they stop the ride and rotating platform. At Disneyland's Space Mountain, a track moves out to board.
