Not too much media coverage about the killings of innocent palestinians nor the daily brutality and humiliation they are made to suffer at the hands of Israel. In the west, Israelis have grown impatient with us, and the palestinians never liked us in the first place so things cannot be explained so black and white. It's sad when innocent people die. HOWEVER, if Israel is going to be the ONLY country in the M.E. that accepts the rights of the LGBT community, they will continue to receive a lot of money from western countries.

The sin of Sodom was not that they inhabitants were gay, it was something different. I think that even if it was the case, hatred and discrimination is a greater abomination to God. Tolerance is what God wants and for Christians, Jesus was the most tolerant and urged people to love their neighbors. Peace!

Muhammad(saw) used to have a neighbor who throw thorns and garbage in front of the prophets door, and when he didn't come one day the prophet visited him to make sure that he is okay, the man was sick and cured when the prophet(saw) went to him, and he has reverted to Islam.

The difference between us and you is understanding the texts, and the people of Sodom was because they were gays, and about the tolerance we are no were compared to others in peace according to Islam.

I have never read any part of the texts that say, people in sodoma were homosexuals. They didn't treat right foreigners and even abused them according to some texts but I have never read that the inhabitants were gay. Still I think that tolerance and respect for everyone's life is the key. I am not jewish, nor muslim, but I will always respect everyone's believes and lives. Peace!

I think the correct thing to say is "You hope", not "you know". Because you honestly don't know. I'm sure you're trying to show conviction with your words, but when it comes down to it. You really don't "know" at all. You chose to believe a certain way despite a lack of evidence.

You're right, I have no evidence that there isn't a god, but you also have no evidence that there is a god.

A lack of evidence suggests that there is no god. The only evidence you have is a bunch of books and supposed first hand testimony of previous evidence that has not been repeated for modern people.

So looking at this from a logical point of view, there being no god is more probable. I cannot say with any certainty that there is no god, but the odds are on my side.
