  • I'm a student. I have very little time to eat. Does they whey protein after I work out count as another snack? Or should I have more? And is having an extra serving of protein or having some popcorn as a snack effect my results? I'm on day 10

  • I work in a prison. I get one full course meal for the 8 hr shift. I typically have access to fruit and water throughout the day but I can't just fry up so mystery meat often enough to eat 5 meals a day. Any tips as to what people in my situation should do. I am starting P90X this week. Thanks

  • @915olivares11 you cant burn belly fat, if you reduce your body fat, you reduce your body fat all over

  • p90x lies about the calory count it is nowhere near what they advertise there is not enough carbs or fat to make up the daily calories it advertises

    I recently bought the Shakeology pack from beach body and i was wondering is breakfast the best time to have it or should i wait until lunch when i get hungry?

  • @Paradox874 I like it for breakfast, but that is my personal preference. I add stuff to eat to make it close to 400 calories. It really depends on your preference. What flavor did you get?

  • About how many grams of fat do you consume in a day?

  • @joeyrockstheworld it depends on the day and the amount of carbs I am eating. on average, I would say around 70 grams.

  • Can you eat flavored yogurt while on this P90X diet?

  • @Annazayla I try to stick with greek yogurt. The ones I use have 12 grams of protein and 19 grams of carbs. They are flavored and I use them as mid-morning or mid-afternoon snacks.

  • HI, i started p90x 2 days ago and i havent been following the diet plan ive just been eating my normal meals but not soda no junks and a lot of fruits and milk. Im aiming for abs and muscle mass by doing this will i still get my results. Thanks

  • @turtles556 To gain muscle mass, you need ALOT of protein. So you need to be sure you're getting alot of that. Also, remember that fruit contains alot of sugar. Yes it's natural sugar but you don't need to be eating alot of it. Milk has alot of fat, so make sure it's atleast skim.

  • Im not trying to lose weight ( actually gain a little) but i also am about to start p90x... what do you think i should try to eat and how many calories a day should i try to get. thanks

  • @dinahmite425 I think what you have down are great choices. To make an accurate assessment, I would need to know your weight, workout length and goals. Diet can be a tricky thing. If you want to email me, I would be glad to help you tailor it or make some suggestions. Are you just using the stairmaster or are you doing P90X?

  • i dont eat druit or veg or salad, any reccomendations for what i should eat instead.. :S

  • @skullkiller123 wow, if you don't eat fruits or veggies, your body is definitely lacking in nutrients. I would highly recommend using Shakeology. you can also get some of your calories from brown rice and whole wheat pasta. Also squash is a good choice as well unless you also consider that a veggie.

  • @sbfw1425 I no its terrible, on the p90x nutrition guide it says not to drink squash or any flavoured waters. Just drink water is all it says, im really scared of failing id really like to see good results, but without veggies im sure ill fail :l.

  • @skullkiller123 you won't fail as long as you are pushing hard and at least eating healthy. the diet guide is just that, a guide. I have modified it many times over. Shoot me an email through my blog and let me know what you are eating daily. I can try to make some suggestions for you. You may only need some slight modificaitons. You may be surprised.

  • Wow this is one of the best tips for p90x nutrition on YouTube ..so simple and clean. I just started my 90 day program on Monday, but I don't eat dairy. What do you suggest?

  • @marieeugene I am glad you enjoyed my video. I try to keep things simple. If you don't eat dairy, there are a lot of alternatives for protein.
