  • Poor little FOOLS!

  • You people talk trash so easily to our fine officers and you don't even realize that part of being a police officer is to go to protest and simply watch people. Sometimes it comes to violence when people start to behave like some naive children. Did you know that the Icelandic's finest allsoe protested the ressesion? and they did so with pride. They came and left in peace. o "!I! Salute! I I

  • Do what you are told by the police or get the knightstick .. i really dont see the problem

  • @102Oman you are the one who should be shot. I wouldn't personally feel bad after assasinating an idiot like you.

  • @emperor075 Yeah, so do you.

  • @emperor075 sftu

  • i was there it was crazy they sprayed gas and shitthen some dude blew a smoke bomb and it got out of controle.. powar too the people

  • those police hate freedom so much they want to throw everybody in jail

  • police stop working for these criminals, stop taking illegal orders, you are attacking your own citizens

time to wake up and boot all these criminals out of office, they are criminals and they work for an international crime syndicate, end of story

  • @Ineededanaccount0 You think that staying in Iceland for a few hours makes you qualified to pass judgements on us?

  • This footage is quite frightening...and rather saddening & upsetting.

Quite the opposite of what I've always seen Iceland as...a mellow, upbeat, friendly locale that I *loved* to visit..

Maybe things'll be *back* to mellow again by Summer 2009..as I'd like to return there in August...

  • Well, you could tell Iceland aint used to protests like this. None off the police wears riot gear. I'am surprised how restrained the police are. In most countrys Batons would be used alot in that fight.

(The police with helmets are Motorcycle police)

  • We do have riot gear, I don't understand why they didn't use it there.

  • já.. fólk tekur nýja árinu vel sé ég...

bara sorglegt að horfa á þetta...

  • they r realy angry! oh my god

here in africa no food and no money but its ok... we never protest i have see ppl dying but theyr family don't protest!

no idea what iclandic ppl want

  • it's because the government and bankers here in iceland stole everything that we had away from us and left us with nothing but dept

  • they want humanity.

  • yo þú sem sendir þetta video, lærðu að skrifa á ensku

  • Pseudo briton.

  • OMG POSTED ON MAH BURFDAY!

  • WTF? Iceland,,, Protest? It is the end of the world as we know it! But I feel fine......

  • Oh no they aren't.

    Until recently. :D

  • Karl Marx was right

  • Im hopeing that Iceland wont be the next false flag. Remeber theres still a couple of missing Nuked from the Cheny Bush crime movment that also gave us the false flag of 911.

  • I think we are going to see things like this in spain, it,s time for the governments to fear the people, best of luck to iceland people

  • flott hvernig löggann fór að þessu.. ástæða af hverju það var klappað á bakið á þessum fremstu. að seigja nei þegar löggan biður þig um að fara út er lögbrot og þá má járna þig

  • Why the hell are they doing this to the police?

The police only do this because it's their job and who says what opinion they have? They're just doing their job. They got bills to pay, maybe a child or two and not to mention a house.

    Give them a break!

  • Shut up you fool. The police are siding withe the Criminal banking Cartel and their puppet politicians, they've made their choice.

  • Uhm, excuse me? They made their choice? They joined the police because Iceland was fucked? -.-

MOST of those cops have been there for quite some time you know.

  • Nonsense....it doesn't matter if they've been on the force for 20 years or 20 days, they should be arresting the real criminals instead of being hired goons for the international bankers and their puppet politicians.

  • The policemen can't just arrest someone that hasn't broke any laws (the government has broken the law but they are untouchable) and without any laws broken the policemen trying that would get fired and who would want to quit his job for nothing?

  • Maybe cus they know the Police 'may' start calling them terroist one day, and thus be sent off to one of these secret camps in Romaina where they'll be waterboarded or something. Remember the gaurds in Treblenka said they were just doing their job. Always be cautious of the rammifications of this crisis!

  • Icelanders - You are a fantastic race with a rich and beautiful culture. I wish you well.

  • That message was for Erroson btw.

  • Look at a map of palestine from 1950 then loot at a map of palestine from 2008. Tell me if you see a difference.

  • Map of what?

  • I believe that the spirit of the Icelanders is far greater than a few terrible mistakes made by the greedy! Iceland will start the show it's true colors soon!!!

I believe in them as a nation of greatness and integrity!!!

  • People Power !

    Down with the oppressors

  • Police does not protect the people; it protects the few privileged rich!!

  • @homer30 They do there jobs. They keep the ballance. If the police would not protect the politictians we would rip them apart.

  • @TheIcelandicPatriot well,, i dont see nothing wrong on riping politicians apart. they asked for it ..may be they should get it one day ^^

  • @abradras Hey i hear you i would LOVE to rip them apart but we are civilized people sire and rules are rules. We should however storm the senate house and remove them with or without force.

  • @TheIcelandicPatriot i was just thinking ..for one time be civilized on same level as they are :P rules, police and army are set here to protect criminals in governments all over the world. there are no rules for them only for us - slaves. they tough it out very well, they made huge amount of people depended on state money , they will protect them to the last breath :( ..there is not enough free thinking people to storm anything :( at least in slovakia. ^^

  • @abradras I do not claim to know alot about the police in other states but here in Iceland the police is the people, they march and protest with os on many ocations. The police and army are supost to protect the people allthough they often stray away from there duties.

  • @TheIcelandicPatriot well ,, thats great. i can assure you this is not the case in whole Europe, or USA or Canada ..or any part of the world .. you lucky.

  • @abradras Well i have heard some crazy things about the police in the U.S and some other countries but i can assure you we are not alone in this.

But there is one thing corrupted goverments, military and police tend to forget, the people are bigger then they are.

  • @TheIcelandicPatriot ;-) you right , but what scares me is how many people dont understand whats the problem. they fight about which party should be in parliament ..or trying going back to socialism/communist for social safety :( blaming on capitalism. when there is no capitalism right now. and the real problems are private banks controlling currency and debt of state and people :/

  • @abradras I could not have said it better myself :)

  • You are a useful idiot Erroson, bend down for the oppressors, there are plenty crawling like you seem to be, a prominent fasists perharps, I am sure you find a nice spot for yourself in the coming fasiststate.

"Do you grovel to your master?

Do you beg like a dog?"

  • Haltu fucking kjafti litla mellan þín þú átt ekki skilið að vera íslendingur.

Shut the fuck up you whore u dont deserve to be Icelandic.

  • það hryggja mig hvaða hefur gerast til Ísland, ég vaxa fleiri jafnaðarmaður við dagur. Gera ekki vita the þessi er the úrlausn en það er minn tilfinning.

  • Keep up the good fight!

  • Why has that guy got Norwegian written on his back?

  • you are a mad dog.

  • If they're ilegally occupying a building. The police should have just filled the building with tear gas and waited outside for the bored teenagers to have come spilling out.

  • Background, we need background. Somebody from Iceland?

  • Iceland Bank Collapse + Collapse in the Icelandic Krona = Major economic problems, such as high inflation, interest rates and unemployment.

The Icelandic people, quite rightly, have gotten pissed off at the way their government has handled the crisis and doubly pissed off that the government let it happen in the first place. So they are making their displeasure known by protesting.

In this event, they protested at a hotel where the Icelandic Prime Minister was being interviewed by TV.

  • Thanks

  • They r not real cops they are governments kids just a bunch of want to be heroes who got the job because they r cop suckers friends and family

  • I agree with maximouni

  • we are at war against government terrorist that wont resigned

  • Take the sorry politicans into to the streets and put a bullet in them.

That is what it is going to happen in the U.S. the way things are going here.

  • The new executive branch would be a great start.

  • Radical!

  • what was that all about?

  • They are angry because of Hotel Borg charges for the bread witch comes with the soup.

  • hahahaha

  • There country is bankrupt

  • No it isn't!

  • Well depends how you define bankrupt. Having the biggest personal debt in the industrialized world, having a future unemployment rate of up to 15 %, having a failed financial sector and owing IMF many times the national productivity is something I consider being bankrupt.

  • I know and I do worry for Iceland. But in my experience Icelanders are hard working and honest, and I think the country will get through this in the medium to long run. This is despite the Government rather than because of the Government.

  • Bankruptcy is a legally declared inability or impairment of ability of an individual or organization to pay its creditors.

So if Iceland cannot pay then of course it's bankrupt but since Iceland had almost no debt before the crisis, and has never defaulted a loan, then it will not become bankrupt.

Of course there will be tough times but that's something we've experienced in the past, not so many years ago.

I rather fear the moral bankruptcy that we are facing now :o(

  • I have to disagree, I think we are facing a complete awakening of the common people, finally people give a damn about what the men in charge are doing. And yes, the government didn't have a high debt, they still had a debt of 29% of their national productivity, although one of the lowest, it didn't help when the rest was added onto it. But the problem is that the common Icelander had the biggest debt per person in the world. So the individual goes into this with a very high debt.

  • Styð þessu mótmæli, en þessi voru bara heimskuleg.

  • Piparúða þetta lið í afturendann.

  • Piparúða þig í afturendann!

  • Áfram Ísland! Áfram mótmælendur!

  • Þeir einstaklingar sem vilja standa fyrir friðsamlegum mótmælum verða, hvort sem þeim líkar betur eða verr, að fara eftir fyrirmælum lögreglu. Annars teljast mótmælin ekki friðsamleg lengur. Samkvæmt landlögum hefur lögreglan vald til að vísa fólki út úr byggingum þar sem fólk er í óþökk eigenda. Kjósi fólk að virða að vettugi slík fyrirmæli þýðir ekkert að væla undan meðferð lögreglu.

  • Svo ef ég eyðilegg eigur annarra, neita að yfirgefa þeirra húsnæði, grýti lögreglu og ræðst á fólk í dag þá ekkert sem bannar mér það?

    Bull.

  • dorisig, thank you for all your hard work uploading videos of current economic situations in iceland.

it is a great way to get info out to the rest of the world. i fear the worst situation will happen to the U.S.

Meinti ekkert all svakalegt með þessu...má bara merkja þetta "Spam" fyrir mér. :P

  • vantar bara ríkisstjórn sem má skemma og eyðileggja að vild og án ábyrgðar ... ;-)

  • Haha gaurinn í lokin heldur því fram að mótmælendur hafi ekki beitt neinu ofbeldi, samt er maður búinn að sjá allavega 2 steina fljúga í átt að lögreglunni. Veruleikafirrtu hálfvitar, læsa þetta pakk allt inni og gleypa lykilinn.
