  • Powerful throw!.

This move in normal ground would be deadly.

  • @ccrcountry yeah man, deadly is accurate lol.

  • why is every one fking gigling in the back like a bunch of vaginas

  • Nice really a good move for greco but I rarely use it

  • Where exactly should I have my hands when I throw my partner? On his sternum or on his hips?

  • i logged on to like jscioli83's comment

  • is this move allowed in highschool Wrestling ?

  • @MAXED2THEX in folkstyle wrestling now a days. no. considered too dangerous.

  • @ABruce1970 LOL. If he had "ability within sport", he wouldn't be a coach =P

  • my coach is BETTER

  • I can appreciate this guy trying to work with kids, but the technique sucks.

  • @ABruce1970 hay we being younger wreslers will take a move given to us like this put our own twist on it n use it on someone that goes by the book and it catches them off gurde and that move aint that advaced expecaly scince he is teaching it to a small group learn wresling b4 u star trying to tell coches how to do there job

  • 5/10

  • 5/10

  • if done correctlt this move is kick ass!!!!!

  • I've done 5 years of amateur boxing getting into MMA. You, sir are a very good teacher and even I can understand the physics of these grappling moves. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to learning more. Thank you very much for sharing

  • Damn!!

Great teacher. This video is very helpfull.

  • i love how people talk shit about the coach in this video Joe Scioli when i know for a fact he will SLAM any of you Wannabe coaches or washed up wrestlers who are talking shit on you Necks, dudes like 6'3, 235 and knows his shit, NOT somebody to fuck around with..

  • From what I understand, there is no explicit ban on the move in folk style. The so called slam rule only dictates that you have to have complete control of your rate of decent during the throw. However since this is difficult with the back arch, it usually results in a slam call. I've seen many instances where people have gotten away with it, specifically several times at a JV tournament at Brandon High School in Florida, and once by our starting 103 pounder at Newsome High School.

  • @MrRelationships First off... saying "First off" implys there is a second different point you are making, which you don't- unless you call "having no control over him... and is easily countered" different points. Which aren't worth numerating with a "first off and secondly..." and if that is the case your usage of the ellipsis is incorrect. SECONDLY, you have almost absolute control of your opponent in a back arch throw, they are off the ground and you are dictating where they fall.

  • @jscioli83 Fucking put him on hush mode. Lmfao.

  • @MrRelationships you dont need to have control over him because in Greco wrestling if you do a 5 point throw you win the match

  • @AdamLisac The description says its freestyle... Lol,other wise i would agree with you.

  • this is illegal in high school wrestling.

  • :50 seconds the kid looks so scared haha

  • WHen my Dad wrestled AAU in California that was known as a Back Suplex...Yeh good vid!!!!!!

  • isnt that a illegol move

  • @ABruce1970 oh, and shame on you for opening your mouth when you have no frame of reference....

  • @ABruce1970. this was freestlye season, and this was the biggest kid in the group. he was a 15+ year old HS student. I am teaching how to execute a back arch throw. How is this not relevant to them, i mean... they wrestled freestlye and greco in the weeks that followed. You do not know their level of skill, therefore its foolish to make such claims about my students. You can talk trash to me if you like, you wont win. BUT YOU WILL NOT TALK SHIT ABOUT MY STUDENTS. Sir, you need to get a clue.

  • @jscioli83 is this legal in folkstyle

i mean doubt it but just wanna know

also it be a super badass move 4 mma lol

but in all seriousness sir is it legal in folkstyle?

  • @blakTiGGeRXXX dunno about the rules in folkstyle, but Jon Jones has pulled this one in MMA and it was sick.

  • @jscioli83 I guess the technique was decent, but this doesn't look any different from a regular suplex...

  • @jscioli83 I guess the throwing technique was decent, but this doesn't look any different from a regular suplex...and the duck under was poor, i've never wrestled anyone who would ever give up a duck under without a set up

  • @reptooo I am not stressing duck unders in this video. would you like me to put one up? or are you another internet know it all?

thats a big problem with todays generation, too many kids feel they are too good to learn something new, or quite frankly they "know it all". i have been wrestling over 14years. Wrestled in Middle school, High school and in College... and i still am not follish enuff to think i am god's gift to wrestling or I know all there is to know about wrestling. wise up kids!

  • @jscioli83 Hey bro, you're the coach. All I was saying is that if I was coaching I would have my kids practice the way they would wrestle. Even if you're not "stressing" duck unders, you should show the set ups to your moves. And to be honest, even for a middle school level, the kids shouldn't be standing around giggling at your suplex. Where I'm from, practices are challenging both physically and mentally and "demonstration" time is as straight to the point as possible

  • @reptooo I agree with most of what you had to say, however this is off season practice and i have a hard enough time getting kids there without making it so structured.

  • arent u supposed to roll over ur opponent after u've thrown him? becuase it makes to since to stay on ur back....

  • @TitWarlord idk if this applies to everywhere but in the OUA(Ontario University Athletics) if a 5 point throw is executed successfully, the round is over.

  • yeah if we laughed at that, we would get to work that move and that move only for the next week nonstop . cause if were laughing then we obviously already know the move. fuck that.

  • German suplex?

  • dont understand it?? is it ment to break the neck or just toss him so he lands softly on his hips??

  • @damesy26 its a toss, to his Shoulders , 2 Points for takedown, and 3 for near fall- hence 5 point throw

  • We talk we run our asses off.

  • hahaahhahaah

  • wtf they laughing in my team we laugh we run our asses off and condition for half the practice then

  • @xXPTRAYXx its open mats, the kids dont gotta be there, its optional off season practice

  • Your team needs discipline. Laughing at a throw? WTF is wrong with the?

  • Spiking penalty waiting to happen.

  • Its Freestyle wrestling sir... there is no "spiking".

  • nice move :D

i only wrestled folk style half my junior and senior year so i they never taught me that throw

by the way is the guy suppose to land on his neck?

    wouldn't that paralyze him

  • 0:14 "lands immediately in danger" aka on his upper back shoulders. altho there is a possibility of injury. its part of the rules. you are allowed to execute throws like this. you'll find the more you practice it the more safe you will be able to preform this.

  • @willyjones7 ive been knocked out before when ive been suplexed (the throw in the video)

  • This technique is a bit wrong, or at least I was taught different technique of that throw. (Russian school)

  • I wrestled for 7+ years in high school. I'm 34 now, with a 7 year old son. I was teaching him wrestling moves for a month before his 1st year of wrestling, that was not very smart as I found out. I didn't know wrestling had changed since my years. I was showing him this throw, and many more, also I was showing him how to explode from bottom for a reverse, but now days they teach you to drop straight to your belly. This new style of wrestling is more boring than my day, IMO. What's your thoughts?

  • just remember there's three styles. You might have learned a different style than your son

  • Why were you in high school for 7+ years?

  • ))) good point.

  • haha this is great

  • Is this folkstyle wrestling?

  • that was a freestylemove

  • y is it that everything is collegiate?

    u cant do shit

  • This is a demo on 3triple thick matting on my HS students. I didn't twist anyone's arm into doing this. Don't paint a picture like I'm bullying my students...

  • nice bro... suplex a 9 yr old kid

  • nice sherman hahaha. its nikelodeon coach. im watchin this because i wana make sure i can get the steps to this move correct.

  • your an idiot. terrible duck. and you hit first in a back arch not the other guy. stupid

  • first of all im demo-ing the throw so im not emphasizing the duck under. and 2nd if you execute a back arch throw correctly your opponent should hit the ground a split second before you, you obviously dont not know the dynamics of wrestling. i wont insult you tho.

  • What are you talking about? In a back throw the person being thrown hits first (ideally). If the thrower hits first he risks being hurt or even pinned.

  • your absolutly right. The person above doesnt understand that.

  • You sdo your different then I do. I do the same idea over the head his landing with cushion yours but i rotate right at the end and keep him down

  • i dont understand how u get nearfall from this move. ive tried it a few times and any good opposing wrestler squares his hips to the mat as soon as he hits the mat resulting in me just getting two points. how do u get them to their back from this move to get nearfall or a pin?

  • i cant understand your grammar. but if your saying that this technique is flawed your not correct. if you were to do this in the streets you might kill some1. however if your talkn about wrestling and freestyle or greco (namely) then this is the technique. the other name for this is a "back arch" becuz you are arching you opponent threw; not turning to the side.

  • fucking idiots laughing this throw is often used in streets and its a shit pain if somebody does it to you and he actually forgot to spin... when he spins the offensive guy will be on top of him and the defensive guy will land on his chest

  • what type of wrestling is this????

  • no mms se lo hubieras echo de frente

  • can u do this at high school wrestling

  • you cannot do thuis particular move. however if you can execute a throw without hurting our opponent and fully in control it will be deemed legal.

  • yea, well im in high school and some idiot thought he could do it "safely" and i nearly ended up parazlyzed, i got lucky and was fine. The next kid he does it to will proly end up dead. This should be illegal in high school.

  • it is banned from high school collegiate wrestling. read the side description. its freestyle or greco wrestling. not high school wrestling.

  • Its not banned in all highschools.. maybe your province or state (not sure which country your from =P) but for us its banend in junior varsity but varsity its allowed

  • its not illegal in highschool?

  • its only illegal if he goes directly from FEET to BACK and gets hurt.

I almost got ejected from the sectional tournament because I did something similar, gave the kid a concussion, but my ass hit the ground before his head did, so it was not a slam

  • its not illegal in highschool, its illegal in folk.

its not even like its hard to do

  • Only in Greco/Roman Freestyle it isn't.

  • this is legal in the international styles. freestyle and greco roman. ILLEGAL in American folk style aka. collegiate style (i.e. HS and college wrestling)

  • Even though it's pointless in folk it would still be entertaining.

  • can u use this move in folk style if u use a 2 on one wrist grab instead of clasping your hands ?

  • no you cant. and make sure if you are returning with a 2 on 1 that u dont take him to that side and land him on his head cuz that can cost u the match

  • idk bout ur league, but in my league any type of suplex is illegal. its so gay. i wish we could do this is folkstyle

  • no matter how you lock your hands in folk its still a slam to sup a kid.

  • in greco and freestyle,

  • no. high school is folkstyle. there isnt slaming in that.

  • im aware. only problem was that the kid i was wrestling was using freestyle moves, even though it was a folkstyle match. The kid is just an ass. The ref pinged him for slamming, asked if i could continue, and I did.

  • nice. good job on keepin in the fight if you werent hurt.

  • My friend's dad videotaped the match. It should be on youtube in a few days. I'll put up the link.

  • was this a school wrestling move looks like pro

  • its freestlye wrestling like it says in the caption off the the right of the video. sadly (becuz i hate pro wrestling) it does share similarities with pro wrestling. freestyle and greco-roman for the record are international styles of wrestling that permit such throws.

  • stop argueing u fools. this aint a forum to bad mouth eachother.

  • thats why i wrestle folkstyle i know no freestyle moves

  • you didnt always know folkstyle moves either...

  • who are you, you have no idea who i am so you have no right to say something which is wrong in the first place. so congratulations buddy you just made yourself look like a genuine jackass in front of everyone, grow a prick and stop hiding behind the computer you pussy.

  • don't try to tell me, that when you started wrestling folkstyle, you ,knew any moves.

  • i actually knew several because i watched the sport frequently from a younger age, and my dad had taught me moves that he remembered when he wrestled in high school. so yes i actually did have hand full of moves at my disposal my first year of wrestling, by the way isn't your 9th grade ass a first year wrestler... wrestling sucks the biggest dick in the world in Georgia anyways.

  • no big man...i've been wrestling since 2nd grade. and i've placed three times in georgia. and i placed nationally in folkstyle this year.

  • actually, dick head i knew several moves because my dad having been a former wrestler in high school taught me a hand full of basic take downs. who the fuck is your ninth grade ass to try to tell me how to wrestle if your the best wrestler in the world name your top 3 take downs in order, and try not to look up anything on Google because Google probably is a better coach then anyone will ever be at a Georgia high school

  • oh and btw, my coach won the junior olympics in high school. and wreslted varsity at georgia until they took away the varsity program.

  • raise your hand... thats who gives a fuck

  • you said google was a better coach than my coach..you don't give georgia any respect...but you've never wrestled a georgia kid, because you're not good enough to wrestle nationally.

  • wow your still bitching i guess your the best wrestler that ever has graced upon this earth, i'm sorry i'll see you a five o'clock to bow down to you again, i hope mack hickman kicks your ass in wrestling.

  • I wrestled a kid from georgia before...I'm from Illinois, I lost to him, but then again he was the state champ haha

  • being openminded is important. how else can you progress? besides alot can be learned thru freestlye that will help in american style wrestling.

  • pretty good
