  • wish i had it as daily driver

  • If I was going to be put in the ground, I would love to be delivered in this hearsd

  • Im in love!!!...Ever consider selling this gorgeous machine?

  • Transmute into ... 'err Vampire's Hearst, no? That is to say ... a mega tech advanced RV, replete with expandable hydraulics roof-line, and rear-end, so that it can sleep six comfortably, and feed eight, with a mini-portal kitchen set-up, and an addendum, externally linking shower rig: lots of salt-water 900 L's grade stainless steel ... and secret/concealed inner-door panel hidden UP stainless steel OYSTER PANELS (from roof, too) that close-up for total interior darkness. Amphibious, too!

  • Dr. Venkman called, he says he wants his car back.

  • Man imaging getting a flat tire on that thing, I guess back the the jack was made of iron....lol cuz if that caddy dropped on your foot, pain wouldn't even be the word

  • It would be fun to creep through a cemetery at dusk in this and watch people take off running. Awesome car but kinda creepy.

  • The Sayers & Scovill, is this the Victoria? It's a side loader. Does it have manual or electric table?

  • @werksdesign Hi. Yes it is a Victoria Electric three way with hydraulic levelizer.

  • fucking amazzzzzzzzzzinggggggggggggggggggg

id give my left nut for that car!

  • @corywatt26 No thanks!!

  • No matter what car you drive in life, one of these will always be your last ride.

  • That car is fucking badass!! A guy here locally is forced to sell his because the HOA won't let him have it in his neighborhood. What kinda bullshit is that huh.

  • @oxouk That does seem a bit over the top doesn't it.

  • @oxouk Sounds like people with no taste in vehicles. I'd LOVE to own a hearse. Screw Ghostbuster's Ecto-1; I'd want mine painted black with Cragars and blackwalls.

  • This clip was an estimated 5 gallons of gas to run. Seriously, that's a gorgeous ride. I especially like the satin black finish.

  • @mrgears Thanks for the positive comments

  • I'd Kill Someone for that car then put them in the back of the hearse =)

  • I love the way the car passes the tree branches and then disappears with the fins being the last thing you see...it reminded me of the Grim Reaper for some reason!

  • TURN IT INTO AN ECTO-1!!!!!!

  • HOTT!!! Keep that car! The 1959 Cadillac series 75 Ambulance/Hurst are extremely rare with only 400 ever made! You have a rare find there! Cherish it!

  • i wander where he turns on the siren? i couldnt see him using a switch with his hands! maybe a foodpedal?

  • "Worriors come out and play"

  • I'm guessing alot of American cars were sent to NZ in the 50's-70's. A surprising number of videos featuring old American iron are from there.

  • @tellmeitsnottaken

Yes, you are correct, but also in recent years the import laws have relaxed here, so a lot of people are bringing them in. My brother imported this car in I think about 6 or 7 years ago now.

  • @tellmeitsnottaken does new zealand even make a brand of car? youre all smart for importing the american iron thats all i can say

  • @tellmeitsnottaken Yes, there were a lot of American cars sent here in that time frame. My brother imported this car from the States about 7 years ago now.

  • don t hit me!!!!!

  • Please. PLEASE. PLEASE!!!!... Don't turn it into some kind of Ecto.

  • @puppetmaster983 - No worries there! Thanks for commenting.

  • @sixtelky Yeah... I hate it when that happens. These are such big, bold, beautiful cars. They are perfect just the way they are.

  • @puppetmaster983 - Whats at "Ecto"?

  • @alrui It's from Ghostbusters. The Ecto-1 is a 1959 Cadillac ambulance. And almost every 59 Cad. hearse that pops up for sale is turned into one. Soon there won't be any originals left, and that pisses me off. >:(

  • @puppetmaster983 - Thanks for the info puppetmaster983, I agree with your sentiments, its just like turning every 69 Charger into the "General Lee" - total waste!

  • @puppetmaster983

yes! because it isnt the correct version of the 59 cadillac!

  • @joginator Hence, I said "some kind". Besides, if you wanted, you could have windows cut into the back.

  • @puppetmaster983 ECTO! ECTO! ECTO! ECTO! TURN IT INTO AN ECTO! ITS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO WITH A CAR!

  • @puppetmaster983 lol there are way too many of those!

  • i'm a mortuary student and I was wondering, is the wood flooring still in the back, what about the casket rails and the curtain rods? I'd look best with curtains.

  • no one messes with a guy who drives a hearse lol

  • gotta love it,I am a 1959 model myself.

  • I not change this car even by a 2010 model of a luxury sportscar, hehe, it's way better to have a sinister hearse than a fag jap car or something like this

  • agreed

  • SWEEEEEEEEEEET

  • Hi nice hearse do you no of any where to find a hearse thats cheep in good condition

  • Hi there...my brother found this one by looking on the Professional Coach Society on the internet....it would probably be more likely later models you would find cheap...ebay could be a good place to start or just type in hearse for sale on google or similar...happy hunting.

  • ok thanks :)

  • You mean Professional CAR Society

  • 1959. F**k ya.

  • thanks for sharing & allowing comments too.

    Does she smell funky?

  • Hmm...no funky smells??? Haha...just 50 year old car smell. Thanks for commenting.

  • This is my dream car.

  • would you want to sell it?

  • Hi there. thanks for commenting...I dont think he wants to sell it at this stage.

  • this is quite literally one of the most badass cars of all time.

  • Its alive! ITS ALIIIIVE XD

  • Any updates on this coach?

  • been slack, car sitting in shed, hopefully update next couple of months...

  • Thanks for the info. We have just finished resurrecting a 1961 Miller-Meteor Duplex on a Cadillac commercial chassis. It was stored by the original owners for 25 years in indoor storage before we found it, so it's practically like new!

My '59 Fleetwood will be for sale soon, to finance the purchase of a '59 coach :)

Can't wait to see more vids of your coach!!!

  • Woulda been cool to see the inside too..

  • OMG this is my dream car. You are so lucky!!!!!

  • Looks amazing.

  • Did that vehicle originally come with the siren? If it did it's likely a combo car used as an ambulance by some small-town undertakers. Look for a hole or Bondo in the center of the roof. That is where a Beacon Ray or red light went. These were removable upon "less urgent" business.

  • no, my brother bought the siren, and no it is not a combo....thanks for commenting.

  • I would kill for that car

  • @AliensexKitten000 Me too, Then I could hide the murder in style. ;)

  • @AliensexKitten000 I would DIE for that car, hahaha

  • @AliensexKitten000 And then you can box them up and take them to the cemetary in it lmao

  • Has this one served in NZ while it was in funeral use? I noticed the siren and that makes me wonder if this is a combination coach with jump seats in the back?

  • Hi...no, my brother imported it from the states...and bought the siren, it wasnt a combination hearse / ambulance, and it has never been in service in NZ...thanks for commenting.

  • As a funeral director, That is a BEAUTIFUL car. Cadillac only made one nice hearse, and that was in 59!!!

  • We'll while the 59 is the best, the 63 and 64 were also pretty nice years

  • I WANT!!!

  • That is the most amazing hearse ever! It's just like the one in the movie "Harold & Maude"--and Brandon Lee also had one just like it.

  • Amazing! I've been searching high and low for a late 50's early 60's Cadillac Hearse. Anyway, beautiful car!

  • I'm in love with that car. I love hearses and 59's are the best looking caddies of all time.

  • & the most creepiest, like you said, the best car

  • id do anything for a hearse

  • wish i had that. used to have a 72 s&s and a 75 supirior

  • Wow Nice Car!

  • You have got years ahead of you yet! Nothing wrong with what you have either. Thanks for commenting.

  • damn that is such a beautiful car, it's one of my dream cars, right now i have a '82 amc spirit but what do you expect? i just turned 16 lol

  • my dad just sold his 1983 AMC spirit

  • alright...i've loved hearses or a long time, and have dreamed of owning a late-60s one, but yours...it's honestly the most beautiful hearse that i've ever seen. a primer '59 S&S? hell yes!

  • Thanks for commenting. I think this one is a keeper for my brother and his wife.

  • Either or! Will keep updating. They are getting a bit of use out of it which is good to see. Will post a video update sometime soon.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • ...I think, I'm in love...

    Good Job...looks cool,sounds cool...and as jammer96 said... it's rare to find.

...when I die, would you bring me to the graveyard in it?!*grin*

  • HaHa...might be a bit far to ship for that...thanks for commenting.

  • For what to ship?! Your hearse, or my coffin?!

...just kiddin. Good luck and bring us more of this "little" black beauty.

    Cheers!

  • It's Ecto-1's cousin! That's a rare find. Hold on to it!

  • He will be holding onto this one. Thanks for commenting.

  • Man, that is a beauty! I've always dreamed of having a 1960 Miller-Meteor Caddy Hearse but I dig the style of your '59. I love the matte finish paint job. I'm envious as hell! Where did you find that car and if you don't mind, how much did it cost you?

  • Thanks...I have passed comments onto my brother..He bought the car for US$5000 ten years ago in Fresno and then shipped it over to New Zealand, it had been sitting since 1980.

  • that looks really cool my hubby and I have a 74 Cadillac Hearse that he's in process of restoring, to me they are just cool looking cars and the stares you get driving down the highway priceless! Awesome car by the way!

  • Good luck restoring the 74. They are a lot of fun, and yes, they do attract a lot of looks, people dont know whether to love them or hate them.

  • That's totaly awsome and keep up the good work in restoring the hearse.

  • Thanks for the POSITIVE comment!!!

  • Hi there. Thanks for commenting. Life's too short to be too serious. Have a good day.

  • why wouidl u get a car that carried dead people...the least u could do was make it look liek it wasnt ahearse...whatever

  • If you are that sensitive just look the other way. These are unique hand built coaches and far too many has ended up as you prefer them to be. Not many of them left in the world. Personally I would rather eat my own fecals than customizing my original hearse. Sorry, but I just had to say something...

  • wow....thatw as 7 months ago lol

look, its just a perersons preference

yes its a very nice car

but "I" would never feel confortable driving a hearse around that has carried many dead people around.

like if it was a familys car that has been passed down or something, thats different but, well u know.

  • good thinking.you should probably stay out of churches, hospitals, and old houses too.

  • w2tf are u talking about

churches hospital and old houses? that has nothing to do w ith this

  • i was talking to the twat who was squeamish about being where dead bodies have been...thus, churches and hospitals....you know, where people die, and where they have funerals...too many words?did they hurt your head?

  • ohh sorrry thought u were refering to my message

    my apologies

  • I think a lot of people have issues with hearses...end of the day...when they were in use, they carried people that were already dead...how many people have died in ambulances????
