but i have to say im really impressed with this, martin landau is fantastic, genuine horror !

if you look very carefully, the statue falling near the end looks very much like vlad the impaler.

I was 10 or even 8 yo when I saw this movie during a Halloween night right here in my country with some other kids friends of mine. We were fascinated for this adaptation then, which has feeded everyone of my further horror and terror fancies since then. Now that I'm an adult, I watch this movie and I feel myself plenty of thrilling emotion. And of course, I smile 'cause it makes me remember my happy childhood and that fantastic halloween. Thank you very much for posting this beautiful film : )
