  • you got parkinsons or somthing

  • This doesent look a pure wildcat, its tail is too thin

  • he is so excited to film such an amazing creature he just can't help but shake uncontrolably

  • there are some duuuuumb comments on this video. First go and read about scottish wild cats on wikipedia. Then watch the video.

  • I'd just like to put a few things straight on this video, seeing as I was the one to take it. The cat was originally spotted at the end of a long trail walking around the corner of a bush. By the time I got to that point it had moved about 100 yards further up the trail. I have a small sonycam and I had to put the zoom full on to get a decent enough close up of the cat.

  • Anyone who questions why the camera is shaking, I suggest they do an experiment themselves by taking some film holding a video camera and focus on an object at the extreme of the zoom facility. They will experience the same shaking effect. Why do you think that film camera men use tripods etc to get a clear shot. The cat was much bigger than a normal cat hence the reason I decided to film it. The Scottish Wildcat Association have identified it as a Scottish Wildcat Hybrid.

  • The interesting thing is not necesserily that its a hybrid, of which there are probably thousands in Scotland, but where it was taken. It was taken in the extreme south of the Kintyre peninsula, in Argyll, Scotland. A place where wildcats are not supposed to be living.

  • Oh I forgot, The reason the cat stops to look around was because I made a loud clicking noise with my tongue to get its attention. I did this several times in order to get it to turn around so I could film its face.

  • wow a house cat shit i seen one of them once before lol

  • Wild cat markings ?! Totally looks like a grey tabby house cat !!!!

  • Has the photographer deliberately blurred this video? It looks like that which tells me that this is not a wildcat hybrid. Looks like a set up to me.

  • seriously if u cant hold your camera still whats the point

  • nice camera work there

  • is a scottish wildcat. i have seen them before

  • this isn't a big deal tbh, my grans cat cheeky was half wildcat, my grandad found him abandoned by his mother in the fields behind their home, he was a vicious wee bastard who regularly left scars on kids legs, me, my younger brother and sister all have them

  • Reminds me of that cat song from Shonen Knife.

  • yep, that a wild cat.

  • It's about time Tiddles went on a diet.

  • Ch Ch Ch Ch Chhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Its a small cat and not very interesting,i saw a black LEOPARD in Cambridge several years ago and wish i had a camera phone with me at the time !

  • Hey it my neighbours cat tigger

  • You can tell its NOT a normal cat. Big guy O3o

  • Thats a normal cat

  • Yep that is one big cat

  • Are we watching this video through the eyes of somebody who has just smashed some LSD or what ?

  • @MW2king61 Emm no it's not dipshit it's a hybrid wildcat and man your real lucky to see this thanks for putting up

  • Its a fuckin bob cat or just a normal fat ass house cat ethier one

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • stop fucking shaking

  • @tnt123123 let him shake his camera... he just was scared of the big cat

  • looks like a large cat.. but a bit different, not a fox i must admit pmsl

  • big bad moggy thick twats...

  • What kind of dumbass would think this is a fox?

  • House cat.

  • learn how 2 hold a camera still please!

  • that is without a doubt a hybrid wild cat.size wise looks perfect.even the proper wild cats in scotland are very small.every body presumes all wild cats are massive.not all are.you can also see it notices its being followed.a house hold cat wouldnt care.then at one stage it picks up pace ready to run as the camerman gets closer it stops to inspect again.deffently all the signs.also domestic cats have been found on the isle of man and was living with wild cats.why couldnt one of them cum here?

  • Thats Tiddles from number 27 just down the road.

  • @19630541 hahaha pmsl

  • Listen, I breed foxes and I'm pretty damn sure that its a fox - look at the bushy tail and pointed nose.

  • @illlearn Freeze frame it at 0:34 foxtard, it's clearly a cat.

  • ..wtf thats just a fox.

  • @illlearn Retard if thats a fox i am a fucking alien! its a wildcat hybrid! We have native wild cats in the UK that are larger than domestics but smaller than a lynx and cougar. They breed with any cat they can which obviously will make some odd looking hybrids! My mates tabby has just had a litter of kittens that are fathered by a big male wild cat that leaves in forest around is estate!

  • who took the video Michael J Fox ?

  • @garystorey Nah, Shakin' Stevens did

  • domestic cat...a little tabby

  • LMAO thts just a normal cat

  • that look like a normal house cat.

  • haha what ever it is it very fat lol lloks like next doors cat witch is fucking huge

  • check out welsh wildcat

  • definately a wildcat hybrid looks pissed when it finds out its being watched a true wildcat would have been gone as soon as it saw the cameraman in fact usually a wildcat will see you before you see it.tell its a hybrid though just by the fused rings on the skinny tail

  • FFS when you put Big Cats make sure it is a fukin big cat and not a fukin fat house cat

  • Just a regular overfed cat but why is the footage so out of focus for so long ? The cat's obviously used to people as it stood there looking at you, plenty of time to adjust the focus - worst video I've seen.tbh.

  • Read the description! Scottish wildcats are only marginally larger than pet cats and the two species cross breed, cats like this are the result, they look like pet cats, bear some of the markings of wildcats and live in-between wild and feral populations of cats. Shaun is a big cat researcher, but no one thinks this is a big cat!

  • @scottishwildcatassoc But is it not true that many cats which have been subject to research either found dead or alive were reported to be at least 45-50% larger than the average domestic cat? bones of such cats have been unearthed. would it be fair to say that male Scottish Wildcats can reach such proportions? i have heard a few accounts first hand from very reliable sources.

  • @scottishwildcatassoc They are one species not two, otherwise there wouldn't be so many mongrels. And just for the record I don't think that it is "sad" that they are "diluted" with domestic cats, thats racist talk. If it helps them survive its not bad for them.

  • @scottishwildcatassoc There are lots of Hybrids now, people get angry, but so what its where all cats come from, we have to keep the species alive, My alaskan malamute is almost Wolf like.

  • Looks part Lynx

  • looks like my m8s cat bc lol

  • lol just a regular cat 10000000000%

  • targe to the smog breathers

  • bollocks! its called a 'TABBY' they are native to the shires and quite harmless to humans!

  • I think that is a cat called an Ashersa or Bengal! It is a domestic cat bred or crossed with a leopard!

  • Is that a jungle cat
