  • I'd like to know what happens when you put liquid oxigen in kitchen oil

  • Why dont you mix it with fine powdered charcoal? This is oxyliquid and very energetic! But it go of with a simple flame, insted of using a blasting cap! Pity Liquid Oxygen cant be done at home! (yet! xD)

  • they are stupid with all that safety equipment they can still get hurt but it it LOX, you can tell with the color of that sky blue. liquid nitrogen is clear.

  • where can you get liquid oxygen or liquid nitrogen

  • Never made a Lox bomb more often at Lyneham we used Dry ice worked a treat when working up the guy on toolstores on nights or anyone asleep in the tea bar....

  • Dry Ice Bomb noun An old RAF early morning wake up call employed on Hercules Squadrons tea bars Circa gulf war.

Very effective! not only did it cause the recipient and all unaware parties sleeping in the tea bar to wake up, It helped the bowels to eject the first movement of the day. Good sport was to be had with other service consumables such as Mike Echo Kilo and Lox.

  • Hey I just got done servicing LOX on an aircraft, and was wondering have you ever seen a reaction with a petroleum based substance? If not, then maybe by impact to a small amount?

  • man these guys are dumb... one day they'll go up in flames

  • You could had make some fiery explosive with that

  • well..its not like they didnt know what they were messing with..they were most likely properly trained on how to handle it due to the fact that they are wearing their PPE. And it was in a controlled environment.

But how they got away with doing that, unless they had permission, is beyond me. It looks like theyre on some sort of military installation.

  • carbon bombs are better

  • Just use dry ice buy it at the store use coke bottle crush ice put in bottle and then add water. Same effect just easier to make!

  • Stupid people. Liquid oxygen is dangerous. It will make even the smallest ember into a raging fire.

  • holy crap. the air we breathe is lethal

  • These knuckle heads need to watch "The Man From LOX" Just plain Dumb

  • well then its dumb that you used it the same way as you would use liquid nitrogen, because liquid oxygen can make substances burn really fast and sometimes explosively, its such a waste to use it like liquid nitrogen.

  • Yes it is. I decanted it from a 9000 Litre bulk storage tank myself. Dumbass??? I think not : )

  • @Microlightgary I think you're mistaken. If you check again it was slightly OVER 9000 (liters).

  • You don't know the difference between anything do you? Liquid nitrogen is nowhere near as dense as liquid oxygen.

  • sorry but i never mentioned one thing about their densities, i dont know wtf you are talking about

  • odd, when did I type that in :o?

Sorry, I thought you thought the explosion was liquid nitrogen and you were saying it was not liquid oxygen. my bad :P

  • actually at first they did dump liquid nitrogen on the floor?

  • nope that was Lox.

  • @howe094 It's liquid oxygen.

Look at the color of the liquid, at 0:03 you can see that the liquid is blue.

Liquid nitrogen is colorless, liquid oxygen is blue.

  • I think perhaps you need a Health & Safety refresher course :-P

  • lol u threw a Liquid oxygen bomb into a place with a danger sign -_-" real smart thing to do

  • Actually, they threw it into an emergency water tank, the danger sign is to stop people falling in.

  • heheh rubber gloves...

  • where the hell are your thrownig the LOX???

    i see a danger mark?:O

  • Next time try to ignite it too...

Thats why this is used as rocket fuel!!!

    FIRE + LOX = Fun

  • Add warm water and it will explode faster and more violently.

  • You can get the same reaction with dry ice. All you are making is a pressure bomb, nothing more, unless you add fuel and fire some how.

  • Who needs NOx in his car when you can have LOX!!!

  • I wonder how liquid oxygen tastes... O.o

  • itll freeze your taste buds before you get to taste it...sooo painful i guess?

  • seems as it is only a liquid untill -136 degrees or there abouts ad say bloody cold and painfull when it burns you......

  • The liquid in the container at the start appears blue, so its LOX for sure!. Just be very careful dudes!

  • yeah, drink that shit and whoever sees you do it will be glad it wasn't them for the rest of their lives...

  • Just mix liquid oxygen with liquid hydrogen and a match =P

  • yay for watery fireballs? meh

  • Cool can you do another? This time far from buildings and toss it in a couple table spoons of axle grease?
