Just about every other Halo 3 machinima out there uses the Halo 3 sound effects. Red vs Blue, Arby 'n' the Chief, and others us the sounds with nothing but good responses from Bungie. Just as long as you give them credit, they're ok with it. Spriggs is by far my favorite halo 3 machinima, and I think you guys are doing a great job. The sounds just seem out of place and distracting compared to what we're used to hearing in Halo 3 gameplay. Keep up the good work though!

The problem is, Microsoft doesn't own it's sounds for Halo 3. %90 were 'leased' for the game.

So while Microsoft and Bungie don't care, it is a problem if at any point the machinima creators decide to do 'something different' may find themselves in a legal bind later on.
