I never played on normal. I got the game and went strait to Hell's Finest. I refused to change the difficulty no matter what. I got to this guy with like 300 lives left. He ate them all, and all I have to show for it is sore arm. This game feels like it's interactive. I feel the pain of a thousand prinnies, dood!

Once you play through the game six times trying to get all the lucky dolls, this guy is not that bad. Same attack pattern every single time. But it's still a nightmare because you have to button mash so fast that it's easy to mess up.

Personally dodging the attacks isn't hard, it's dodging while mashing the square button as fast as you can that's hard. Now that I'm on my 5th playthrough this guy is easy.

accually he does hit a bunch of times.. Prinny doesnt have a max amount of times you can hit.. so tecnecaly, you could even hit th eboss 100x per second.. long as you can button mash 100x per second that is LOL

Actually Chefbot can be bothersome because of the time limit, I give you that...you have to scorch him with bombs quite fast if you don't want to run out of time.

I'll tell you the hardest games I played:

1- Gradius 3 (arcade) You will shit fire playing this one.

2- Haunted Castle (you know, the first arcade castlevania)

3- Fatal Rewind (aka The Killing Game Show) (for sega megadrive/genesis)

Those are the hardest ever (to my mind)...but there are lots of games that are harder than prinny, for instance the Contra saga and the Ghost and Goblins saga.

Man...this is NOWHERE near the hardest game ever. You have in-stage checkpoints, you have 1000 lives (you will get to the last stage with around 900-850 lives left in your first playthrough) And 4 hit to die in normal....the enemies aren't that hard either, the only fight that might give you a hard time is this one.
