I agree.. I'll post a video of the RSX I built last year... it's 500hp and 15psi... so 20 psi is extremely inefficiently run... something is wrong with the tune or the turbo or something.

my friend has an rsx turbo type s (greddy kit) and he is at 11psi at 327whp. His car moves sooo much quicker than this, and the rpms just fly by. I dont by that this guy is giving full throttle.

sorry thought you were being an ass. Well because you will have prebuilt pressure in your turbo when you powershift into next gear adding additional pressure. That puts A LOT of stress on the turbine and it kills turbos very quickly. It's the fastest way to break your turbo. That's why powershifting is only good in N/A cars. You can do it in turbo'd cars but your turbo will not last.

A GT35R with a .84 A/R turbine is efficient at 25psi and only flows enough to support just a little over 500hp, which is about a 75% efficiency IIRC from Garrett maps.

most turbo manifolds will crack after sometime even some $1k manifolds.

because over time the heat produced in the manifold, and the weight of the turbo will stress it.

i have not seen one mass produced manifold that had a brace for the turbo so that the weight didnt drag it down.
