4:23 blind people would be suprised if you tell them that that is only one trumpet playing (not a joke to offend blind people, it is a compliment expressed in that silly sentence)
Nakariakov is no doubt a virtuoso musician however he doesn't have the control of Maurice Andre when he's playing this piece. Andre makes it sound almost leisurely and unhurried, a walk in the park.
The conductor tried to make something out of this drivel. The orchestra players were mostly disgusted. Nakariakov's technique is miraculous. In more substantial music, his interpretations are always estimable.
Fantastic! I have no idea how he gets such a good sound with the trumpet pointed down so far, but hell, his sound is great so who am I to question it?
people say he is better than wynton marsalis..honestly, i don't hear it. his tone is harsh and crude compared to wynton's mellow tone. idk, that's just my opinion.
Does anybody know of any more videos of arban's book bisides the 3 that are in youtube? You there 12 fantasies and variations and there is only 3 so if anybody knows more or has them please upload them or send to simon_ guerrero11@yahoo.com thank very much!!!!!!

He injured his bad in a car accident, I believe, when he was little. It's why he holds his trumpet like that.

You need basics and sound/tone quality before control. He's really amazing and has all those things. I'm already learning to play it and I'm 14

Flierfrank....to play this piece at the standard Sergei is you have to have outstanding control

What a dismissing and condescending look on the violin player's face at 7:40. Like to see him do better.

@Bananalisk the thing is that he is a classical trumpet player and wynton a jazzer so you cant compare that two trumpeters

@JokinJoe because he had a car accident, and he has commented on it that it actually helps his air flow

@JokinJoe ..........he actually plays like that because of a back injury he recieved when he was young in a car accident.

@asarob judging by the way he bowed at the end I'd say him playing like that didn't result from some physical trauma
