Most Americans do not like to eat scavengers, which is a Carp...a bottom feeder that sucks in debris...opposed to a game fish that eats other "live" fish and eats with teeth. Unlike most game species of fish prevalent in the U.S., you cannot fillet a Carp. With game fish like Trout, Bass, Pike, etc., you can fillet the fish and have two nice fillets to cook and eat. With Carp, the entire fish must be cooked and then the meat taken from around the bones. The U.S. "has been" the country of plenty and Americans are picky eaters liking steak, potatoes and such. I pray to Buddha we don't have to start turning over rocks to gather grubs and collecting worms...YUK!

Ah I did see some info that it is a Asian Cuisine. This man said he was getting $4 to $5 per fish about 14 cents per pound. I dont understand WHY instead of killing these fish they sell them to the people who enjoy the taste. perhaps introduce them them to Americans.
