Good save, should have been a retake, he moved off of his line before the ball was kicked, which is against rules of football if you look closely as Figo runs towards the ball buffon goes about 2 ft off of his line, poor referee, should have been a retake but i suppose great save :).

That penalty wasn't the greatest penalty in the world but in the context of the game it was a vital, pivotal stop. It would have meant Real Madrid were back in the match, at 2-1 down with more than 20mins remaining. An away goal to Madrid would have given them an immense amount of confident to find a second & make it to the final and they probably would have. Again, this isn't Buffon's greatest looking save, buts its a great save when put into context the time, place & importance of the match!
