For my semester 2 project we were only given 2 weeks to design an apartment building. The rest of the semester has been figuring out how the building works, drawing details, making contracts and so on. Before I started my degree I did english literature, 'A' maths, physics, chemistry and technical drawing and the vast majority of that has been helpful. What I've found so far is that you need a broad background of knowledge, a passion for learning and the ability to work really well in a team.

Hi, I study architecture in Peru, and sometimes I feel like my partners are more creative than me and that makes me feel that I'm not good enough with architecture. i wanted to become an architect when i was in grade 4. My structures i drew were 2d though. i was able to draw the the empire state building perfectly 3-d.

all drawings are 2D. models are 3d. you probably mean perspective drawing or an isometric drawing. :)

it doesn't.. you will have to make a name for yourself just like other businesses. you can't be in it for the money its a job that needs a lot of passion. people who are passionate about what they do will excel in whatever they are doing.Money follows excellent people :)
