Chemicals that emulate melatonin are not the same old thing, as they are relatively new compared to traditional sleep aids that work on Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid receptors. Also, just because it emulates melatonin does not mean that it is exactly the same as taking pure melatonin. The duration, and strength of effects are different. Nevertheless though, I wouldn't take their claims of efficacy at their word.

This is a very funny & creative commercial, although I don't advocate pills! I love the talking groundhog! That's really clever! If you need to get to sleep, try Chamomile tea, or Sleepytime tea...it works great, & is safer than drugs.
