Your second one is completely wrong and as a marketer you should know better. By saying that people buy products because they are slightly better then other products you make the assumption that people are rational when in fact people are very irrational. People buy what they want not what they need, not what is rationally better. This in turn will make people buy other brands over the better brand if the lesser brand is marketed better. The item itself matters very little.

In the words that have more syllables, could you please find out where the emphasis needs to go? I've heard you put the emphasis on the wrong syllable several times over.

For example, in the word "eliminated", where the emphasis is supposed to be on the second syllable from the *front*.

Forgive my cynicism but, the separation of Apple from PC is a false distinction which you have been duped into. Its not that there are 50 PCs and just 5 Apples. No, the reality is that there are 10 brands of other laptops & 1 brand of Apple. At the end of the day there are still 55 laptops to choose from. The only thing Apple has done well is to sell a name. Granted, that doesn't negate Apple's success but it's more indicative of the laziness of consumers rather than Apple's business acumen.
