@trex65ghia You want to out weapon the US military, that takes more of out money as a percentage of GDP, and almost 45% of all money, spent on all military world wide?
You can't beat the police with a weapon. The pen (and IPAD) are mighter then then the sword.
@shadowmastertx hmmm.. you are not looking at it right...I never said anything about out weaponing the us military...Think about who runs the tankx and fixes the planes... Think about how they might feel about the leadership or direction in this country... ..I live in New Orleans, and about 6 years ago the police told the national guaed to collect weapons from people, The National Guard said... "NO", its unconstitutional...jus think about it..Arab Spring?..Supported by who?
We have to tax the rich at a greater rate or they will use their wealth to buy political influence. I'll give you one guess what they will advocate regarding taxes. When far more of their dollars are benefiting the 99%, the economy will boom and there will be jobs. As Scrooge McDuck was fond of saying: "money has got to circulate" how can it, if it sits in the bank accounts of billionaires?
100,000,000 Americans living at or near the poverty line?.. That's quite a success story for the champions of 'trickle-down economics.' Of course, what these masters of globalization are really after is a new and improved form of servitude, enforced by a gentler, kinder, more militarized high tech police state.
@urbanverificationist The UN plan under Agenda 21 is 80-85% depopulation. They began with the poor worldwide. A US representative to the UN said in the 1970s "war is good but famine is better." See Rosa Koire's new book "Behind the Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21."
with every freedom there is responsibility - don't judge, discriminate - don't assume - ppl have to have higher education, work hard and obtain nice things but not at the expense or exploitation of others & destruction of the planet. People also have the right to work hard at their jobs and in this society obtain a basic education & contribute to the greater good of all. Healthcare is a service & not a profit generating tool. People, similarly have a responsibility to gather & speak up in peace
Unions were formed because of the 1% their thugs were killing and hurting and starving the 99%. Now they have the police paid for by taxpayers to do the thugs work. I am a union man. It sickens me that the police union would let policemen hurt the poor and the working class. The union should not let their members hurt the poor and working class. It sadden me that police union member would hurt our young people. Police state is where the criminals run the government

I don't consider most cops legitimate any more. They are just paid thugs who ignore the law in favor of expedient solutions that favor their wealthy and over coddled benefactors. As a movement this is like a wave.... a tsunami that was not started by the protesters, but the people they are in opposition to. Action causes reaction. Don't want protesters? Then stop doing fu@ked up $hit. simple
@beerandbanjo ...my brother is a decent and honest police captain in philly....all i can say is, there are many good ones, that you just don't hear about....you will always get the negativity in the media...that's why i love this man's couarge to speak out ...peace
@terranow2 I believe there are good ones. But the bad ones are setting the current tone. I think many cops believe themselves to be above the law. And they will watch their coworkers break the law without batting an eyelash to.... 'protect the brotherhood'. Too bad for them we have an abundance of cameras. So, good cops who do no wrong should be safe. Bad cops will be immortalized in infamy. We need more Ray Lewis' and fewer Anthony Bologna's.
@beerandbanjo It really works both ways, or we would never have seen an outspoken one like Capt. Lewis...the job of a cop is very difficult, as he pointed out in the interview. They are assaulted verbally, spit on,etc., and he talks about it candidly....they are only human and have a job that I would never want or could even do,and yes, some behave badly, but then... so do some protestors. Either way, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable" JFK
Ray is a real patriot. I always love seeing Laura. She needs to b on all the time. The rity tool, typically, only had personal insult and his own ignorance as "points"
Since the second world war America has attempted to become the police man of this planet, it never has had a mandate for this...What is as inexplicable is the downright hypocrisy, of a nation that welcomed the Arab spring yet does not embrace the same freedoms for its own citizens......It is time this planet stood up to the bully of military might and stated we have had enough.....
@ducdejoyeuse Well, they CLAIMED to be pro Arab spring, but look at the TYT-vids covering it, & you'll see that it wasn't Americas govt being pro democracy in the middle east, but rather reluctantly repeating the lines it says to win votes. Did you see them saying the same thing about Bahrain or Saudi Arabia? Nope. Those dictators are "our sons of bitches", & the US govt hates to see them go, & will only do so if they think it's needed to be on the winning side.
@rrhynes I don't like their actions as much as anyone else, but he's not wrong when he says they're human beings. That is correct, but that fact makes them even more susceptible to making extreme error of judgment because they are programmed against civil unrest and either don't know or care that they are being used. That woman is correct they already ARE mercenaries. And whoever that yuppie at the end is...last word McGee.To the uploader do you have the rest of this conversation?
@RoseWhiteRoseRed Then they should be punished like the rest of the population. They won't be , of course, because they're immune to prosecution. Most importantly, if they are just "tools", they shouldn't have badges and guns.
@rrhynes I agree wholly. They are abusing their powers and again we are talking as a whole and maybe not on this particular arrest. It seems the only cops that have been somewhat held accountable are the ones at UC Davis who only had to take leave without pay.
@RoseWhiteRoseRed I think the most important thing people fail to realize is that they most will not report on one another's bad deeds. They want you dependent on them, yet they lack the integrity to police themselves. It's disingenuous. Once they do something that their blatantly broad "policies andguidelines" they pretend to be just public service workers, except with the financial backing of their union. They disgust me.
@TheLuckySaGe Yep. Same clip.Just reading past the bullshit. He's a typical cop who's scared to death to tell it like it is. He had have to indict many cops if he says what he knows to be true.
Of course he's wrong about them being mercenaries now. Wall street already has the ability to directly call up and hire NYPD for events as rent-a-cops.
sadly many comments i have heard from the 99% recently are " whats the point"... "It isint going to change things".....and the 1% are doing what they always have done Laughing at all of us.....The "System" WANTS THE PEOPLE to be lathargic, subdued and "lead" ....COME ON WORLD WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!! This 2012 thing is NOW!!!! Save yourself and save the planet!!!...peace
The overlords send in *law enforcement* in front of news media to scare away the people who are still sitting at home in front of their tv...thinking about heading over to an Occupy location. Getting the protestors who are standing there, to leave, if they leave is just a bonus.
@rynomacamillion Cops are supposed to be above being openly angered by mere comments. Spitting is another matter and constitutes assault but mere insults should be water off a duck's back to these guys.
@CalumGilhooly totally totally agree. I mean if cops should be allowed to hit you because you made a naughty comment then why the hell do we have police training? We could just as easily gather around some thugs, give them a uniform and tell them to beat up a couple of people. Police should be like the law, blind, they should only enforce the law, not act like thugs and get involved with petty emotional bullshit.
@tuxu14 wtf we are turnin into china wtf!!! the cencor bill now this buuuullllshitt!!! fuck man !!! Greedy ass Coorps i am fighting u assholes till death
This is a noble man for sure, and a real HERO. Take heed Adults, there should be more of you like him. Our children and true, honest Americans should not be ashamed to walk with the Occupiers. Take a stand parents and adults. Where is your Courage?? Take back your Nation from the greedy Corps and Bought Congress. NOW.

@cHUCHo458 you don't get rich by working hard. you get rich by getting good people to work hard for you. Then earning a profit off the backs of their labor.
Is it just me or does it seem like he's not saying everything he wants to say? I suspect he doesn't want to tell the whole truth and accuse other cops of misconduct on national TV.
I flew private plane from Madison WI directly from the workers rights protests to Columbus OH & occupied the capitol building w/Laura last year. Shes an awesome person. True Story.
If this looks bad, wait untl the Tea Bag Republican governors, newly elected, have convinced tax payers that a "privatized" police force will save you tax dollars..
First "privatize" jails & correcton officers, then move to the cops... now they have their own, bought & paid for "protection" & "solution" against the citizens of this country...
I am afraid that the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that banks can, and do create money...And they who control the credit of the nation, direct the policy of governments and hold in the hollow of their hands the destiny of the people. ~Reginald Mckenna~ former Chairman of the board, Midlands Bank of England"
Please people, check out this video called "Money as debt", and you will truly know who to blame for this entire slave trade we live in today. Corporations are to blame, but not as much as how money is created
@OodlesanNoodles "Aristotle defined hubris as shaming the victim, not because anything happened to you or might happen to you, but merely for your own gratification.[2] Hubris is not the requital of past injuries—that is revenge. As for the pleasure in hubris, its cause is this: men think that by ill-treating others they make their own superiority the greater."
@OodlesanNoodles Your response ignores the fact that there are far more job seekers than jobs. And it appears it is going to stay that way for quite some time. You should consider yourself lucky to have a job, and stop trying to belittle others. You are only showing your true hubristic nature.
We bailed out bad company owners, if we would have just let their businesses fail the market would have corrected itself and things would be flowing a little bit better. The fact that people are blaming "coporate america" is a joke. We need to look at the taxes levied on business owners if and when you look at that, you will see where alot of the money that can be paid to NEW employees is going. I work two jobs, I support myself in everyway possible, and I am 22. These protest make me sick.
I am really impressed by everyone in the panel and their patience, they never interrupted Cap. Lewis once and they actually respected his input. That is nice to see : )

You can't beat the police with a weapon. The pen (and IPAD) are mighter then then the sword.

Then stop doing fu@ked up $hit. simple

terranow2 3 months ago
@terranow2 I believe there are good ones. But the bad ones are setting the current tone. I think many cops believe themselves to be above the law. And they will watch their coworkers break the law without batting an eyelash to.... 'protect the brotherhood'. Too bad for them we have an abundance of cameras. So, good cops who do no wrong should be safe. Bad cops will be immortalized in infamy. We need more Ray Lewis' and fewer Anthony Bologna's.
beerandbanjo 3 months ago 2
@beerandbanjo It really works both ways, or we would never have seen an outspoken one like Capt. Lewis...the job of a cop is very difficult, as he pointed out in the interview. They are assaulted verbally, spit on,etc., and he talks about it candidly....they are only human and have a job that I would never want or could even do,and yes, some behave badly, but then... so do some protestors. Either way, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable" JFK

ducdejoyeuse 3 months ago 15
@ducdejoyeuse Well, they CLAIMED to be pro Arab spring, but look at the TYT-vids covering it, & you'll see that it wasn't Americas govt being pro democracy in the middle east, but rather reluctantly repeating the lines it says to win votes. Did you see them saying the same thing about Bahrain or Saudi Arabia? Nope. Those dictators are "our sons of bitches", & the US govt hates to see them go, & will only do so if they think it's needed to be on the winning side.

rrhynes 3 months ago
@rrhynes I don't like their actions as much as anyone else, but he's not wrong when he says they're human beings. That is correct, but that fact makes them even more susceptible to making extreme error of judgment because they are programmed against civil unrest and either don't know or care that they are being used. That woman is correct they already ARE mercenaries. And whoever that yuppie at the end is...last word McGee.To the uploader do you have the rest of this conversation?
RoseWhiteRoseRed 3 months ago
@RoseWhiteRoseRed Then they should be punished like the rest of the population. They won't be , of course, because they're immune to prosecution. Most importantly, if they are just "tools", they shouldn't have badges and guns.
rrhynes 3 months ago
@rrhynes I agree wholly. They are abusing their powers and again we are talking as a whole and maybe not on this particular arrest. It seems the only cops that have been somewhat held accountable are the ones at UC Davis who only had to take leave without pay.
RoseWhiteRoseRed 3 months ago
@RoseWhiteRoseRed I think the most important thing people fail to realize is that they most will not report on one another's bad deeds. They want you dependent on them, yet they lack the integrity to police themselves. It's disingenuous. Once they do something that their blatantly broad "policies andguidelines" they pretend to be just public service workers, except with the financial backing of their union. They disgust me.

@CalumGilhooly totally totally agree. I mean if cops should be allowed to hit you because you made a naughty comment then why the hell do we have police training? @OodlesanNoodles "Aristotle defined hubris as shaming the victim, not because anything happened to you or might happen to you, but merely for your own gratification.[2] Hubris is not the requital of past injuries—that is revenge. As for the pleasure in hubris, its cause is this: men think that by ill-treating others they make their own superiority the greater."

The fact that people are blaming "coporate america" is a joke.
