  • Thats a real American!!!

  • At 12:23 Ray takes a pretty deep infuriating breathe while the rest of the panel yammers. lol

  • Comment removed

  • Ray is a good cop. He acknowledges both sides of the situation, tries to be unbiased and most importantly has a sense of reason - a quality which so many Americans, police officers or not, seem to lack. We need more Ray Lewis' in America. We need change. And no, I'm not using a cliché when I say this because the change I refer to is a change in mentality. We need reason, and Ray Lewis is one of the few police officers with reason.

  • You should read a few things his former dept members have to say about this guy. He isn't really regarded well by the rank and file.

  • America needs more Ray Lewis'

  • Capt Ray Lewis = Real Police

  • Capt. Ray Lewis...Has STEEL balls ! He stands for the working class, you hear it from his many statements,,,the POLICE depts are all puppets to the todays upper power filthy rich,aka- Corpate Class.....Trust me they all want to say, YOU GO BOY..! but they have to look like robots to collect their pay checks. Capt. Ray Lewis...is human. He should be given a HUMANITY AWARD ! He said it. were all. HUMAN....! Time for the Boston Tea party. wake up people. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I will NEVER Forget Ret. Police Captain Ray Lewis and what he is doing for humanity.

    A True American Hero!

    ~ Much Love and Respect.

  • I will NEVER Forget Ret. Police Captain Ray Lewis!!

He brings Sanity, Love and Common Sense into this world and into many hearts.

I will continue to follow his MISSION for the USA and the world.

Keep EDUCATING the Police Forces and the public. You are no longer retired, the world needs you! Good Luck with your MISSION, Captain Lewis!!

~ Much Respect and Love to you, Always.

  • RAY LEWIS for President!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It is so sad to see the police under the spell of these corporations. After they take off their uniforms, they go home to the same issues as us, upside down mortgages, bankruptcy, underpaid ect... Our children go to the same schools. Wake up police fight with us!!

  • Hello people, if you want to take back the power from these banks, then we must unite and use this website sjrates.com please spread the word, If we all use this site to do are banking and loans by finding the best interest rates, it will force the banks to bend to our will!! Please spread the word about this site. SJRATES.COM

  • trickle down could only ever work if the people incharge of the money cared more about its workers then the money . . . HA fuck you ronald regan

  • REVOLUTION COMIN!!! PREPARE!!! THEY (THE 'ONE WORLD GOV' 'NEW WORLD ORDER ELITES-ROCKEFELLERS ROTHSCHILDS WINSORS SCHIFFS WARBURGS ARMSGARDS AND THE WEALTHY FOUNDATION FAMILIES)WILL KILL US ALL IF THEY CAN!!!

  • @treon123456 you forgot bilderberg. . . NEVER forget Bilderberg

  • @anonismorefun never forget that Ron Paul did make a vote for or against the house version of S1867. He was a coward in not being present to vote.

  • its good to see differentiated, intelligent reporting & a respectful interaction of speakers. not that hostile, shouty brainwash shit they feet you at fox.

  • 993 like(99%) and 16 dislikes(1%)

  • @MyTemporaryAccount88

I think you got that a little back asswards. Lol. Libertarians are the TRUE conservatives...calling those GOP nuts or Ron Paul "conservatives" is insulting to the Libertarians. (I add Ron Paul's name in there because he isn't technically Libertarian...he's an anarchist. He wants NO government WHATSOEVER. So shut up about him already u stupid PaulBots! Sry, kinda went off on a tangent there.)

  • @macgeek2004 NO FKN GOV IS BETTER THAN THE SCUM WE HAVE NOW!!!!

  • The retired captain says he sympathizes with the OWS but at the same time rationalizes that the police are "human"! He was treated with respect and dignity, but he has not commented on the police brutality demonstrated thus far. May be he is experiencing cognitive dissonance. Police are "humans" with the weapons standing up against the predominantly peaceful protesters. Amazing how the police is equipped with *authority* and weapons to establish *justice*! And who's struggling for justice?!

  • 11:52 προπαγάνδα begins..

  • the police know whats going on here. they all know. its labor against management, the age old tap dance where management will continuously step on labours toes.

  • The NYPD are TOOLS of the Corporatacracy, but we can still find heroes even among the tools! THANK YOU Captain Ray Lewis for your stand and willingness to show that there are still A FEW GOOD MEN.

  • So, originally this police officer went down to WS because he is against Hydro-Fracturing? I thought the WS protesters were down there to protest greedy bankers, bail outs, school loans, war, and corporatism? I guess he added Hydro-Fracturing to the list! Good for him...

  • @TheNova1960 Correction: at 3:41 he said he would have come to OWS sooner but he was working on his anti-fracking project, not that he came to OWS because of his stance on fracking. While I'm sure the values that prompt him to join OWS overlaps with his anti-fracking activism, the two should not be conflated. Hope this helps : )

  • @gnomechomskylives Thanks for the correction! He did say he was against "hydro-fracturing", and I assumed that was the main reason he went to WS. At least he didn't go to Fox News with his story!

  • wat a class man

  • Raise taxes for the rich and raise them a lot for the super rich, problem solved. It isn't hard.

  • @MynameisElliott While that should be done and no I am not an economics student that would barely put a dent in it. This goes beyond that. This is fully taking advantage of people... committing a crime, literally getting bailed out when they were never punished and committing further crimes against the people that bailed them out. To them paying their share is merely a drop in the bucket. They need to be held accountable and charged as the criminals they truly are.

  • Ray is a true hero!

  • @Retrosprites Ray is a retard, saying corporate america is using police is like saying home owners use plumbers. The police are hired by the people to enforce the laws and keep the whiners at bay, period. Some retired rent a cop who wears a uniform to try and impress is a nobody.

  • I love that they put out a platter of coffee and doughnuts for him, try to make him feel at home in his natural environment.

  • I am totally mystified as to why MSNBC is reporting on this finally. Lastnight on the ED show he had a segment on this. Just caught it as I was clicking though channels to find something to bore me to sleep. I am shocked and surprised that after two fucking months these lazy ass clowns finally report on this injustice going on with other citizens of the US. No one talks about it, they think it will just go away. They are wrong. The people are fed up with the actions of our government.

  • 12:25 typical fucking BS conservative.

Really, you don't know the values? Well that just makes you either a lazy sonbitch or willfully ignorant / dishonest.

How about googling "occupy declaration", to find the "Declaration of the Occupation of New York City"

Isn't that a better way to spend your time than to go on TV for weeks on end saying "nobody knows what they want"...

Anyone who's not getting paid to "not know what they want" is a lazy fuck who'd rather see commentary than facts.

  • @MyTemporaryAccount88 i think you don't know the meaning of conservative my friend

  • @adnone1art When I say "conservative", I mean those dickwads you see on TV paid to talk shit, those who buy that BS as truth. Calling libertarians etc who don't buy into the establishment GOP propaganda "conservatives" would be an insult that they don't deserve, however much I disagree with them.

  • I grew up in Phila. I remember Capt. Ray Lewis. God bless you on your efforts. You are a true honest patriot.

  • Where is the continuation of this video?

  • I only cared about Ray Lewis! WOOOOO YAAA! *HIGH FIVES LEWIS*.

  • @matthewdickinson78 their protesting dicks like you from posting retarded messages like yours ^_^ you Dbag

  • @THEVEGASUM he's kind of right. i hear a lot of people saying celebrate and peace and love. yet your comment proves what OWS is all about

  • What is everyone protesting about? They just want to go out and play I guess. it's fun to be together.

  • Are the FEMA camps real?

  • @matthewdickinson78 yes. I've been researching the creation of the police state since 1999. FEMA didn't really help during Katrina because that's not what they were created to deal with. It's not in their job description so to speak.

They have a sinister purpose hidden behind a legitimate front, just like many of these new "federal agencies" springing up all over the place.

  • @CMLaneLV They have drugs for your level of paranoia. I was at Katrina. Cal National Guard. FEMA was helping. You speak of what you do not know.

  • Atmosphere brought me here!

  • @Bl0oDBliz69 slug is the man!

  • If it becomes a police v protester situation, no one remembers the protesters v wall street issues, and nothing changes

  • wow 1 in 3 in poverty, didnt know it was that bad

  • pick up a weapon not an ipad....

  • @trex65ghia You want to out weapon the US military, that takes more of out money as a percentage of GDP, and almost 45% of all money, spent on all military world wide?

You can't beat the police with a weapon. The pen (and IPAD) are mighter then then the sword.

  • @shadowmastertx hmmm.. you are not looking at it right...I never said anything about out weaponing the us military...Think about who runs the tankx and fixes the planes... Think about how they might feel about the leadership or direction in this country... ..I live in New Orleans, and about 6 years ago the police told the national guaed to collect weapons from people, The National Guard said... "NO", its unconstitutional...jus think about it..Arab Spring?..Supported by who?

  • U R a clown Boss!

  • Greed is your last name!

  • Ray Lewis=my hero

  • We have to tax the rich at a greater rate or they will use their wealth to buy political influence. I'll give you one guess what they will advocate regarding taxes. When far more of their dollars are benefiting the 99%, the economy will boom and there will be jobs. As Scrooge McDuck was fond of saying: "money has got to circulate" how can it, if it sits in the bank accounts of billionaires?

  • Skewed news presentation...

  • FAUX "news" is a big part of the problem!

  • 100,000,000 Americans living at or near the poverty line?.. That's quite a success story for the champions of 'trickle-down economics.' Of course, what these masters of globalization are really after is a new and improved form of servitude, enforced by a gentler, kinder, more militarized high tech police state.

  • @urbanverificationist The UN plan under Agenda 21 is 80-85% depopulation. They began with the poor worldwide. A US representative to the UN said in the 1970s "war is good but famine is better." See Rosa Koire's new book "Behind the Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21."

  • @urbanverificationist They truly are the kings of this world.

  • @urbanverificationist their crap/debt "treacles" down, while they hoover and suck up our labour productivity.

  • Edward Norton is a good interviewer.

  • @EliteDoomer I wished it was Edward Norton ;p

  • with every freedom there is responsibility - don't judge, discriminate - don't assume - ppl have to have higher education, work hard and obtain nice things but not at the expense or exploitation of others & destruction of the planet. People also have the right to work hard at their jobs and in this society obtain a basic education & contribute to the greater good of all. Healthcare is a service & not a profit generating tool. People, similarly have a responsibility to gather & speak up in peace

  • Nice to see you here son, why so angry?

  • How much was that Audi son? A pay raise would have been better for the employees who make your fortune grow or is this MODERN LAVERY?

    Good day!

  • Corruption, mafia, abuse of power, trigger happy maniacs.

  • random donuts on the desk in front of Captain Ray Lewis.

  • U know u americans do have the right to bare arms!!!!!!!

  • No justice. No peace. Problem is there is peace.

  • fuck the police

  • One or two bounced payroll checks an the police will be switching sides!

  • either your with us or against us,maybe it time to put the POLICE in the 1%

  • I want you all to take a good hard damn look.

Here stands the difference between A REAL True GOOD cop.

and a useless thug like Tony Baloney.

  • Retired Capt. Ray Lewis...you are my hero....thank you for your courage to speak out....

  • I don't consider most cops legitimate any more. They are just paid thugs who ignore the law in favor of expedient solutions that favor their wealthy and over coddled benefactors. As a movement this is like a wave.... a tsunami that was not started by the protesters, but the people they are in opposition to. Action causes reaction. Don't want protesters? Then stop doing fu@ked up $hit. simple

  • @beerandbanjo ...my brother is a decent and honest police captain in philly....all i can say is, there are many good ones, that you just don't hear about....you will always get the negativity in the media...that's why i love this man's couarge to speak out ...peace

  • @terranow2 I believe there are good ones. But the bad ones are setting the current tone. I think many cops believe themselves to be above the law. And they will watch their coworkers break the law without batting an eyelash to.... 'protect the brotherhood'. Too bad for them we have an abundance of cameras. So, good cops who do no wrong should be safe. Bad cops will be immortalized in infamy. We need more Ray Lewis' and fewer Anthony Bologna's.

  • @beerandbanjo It really works both ways, or we would never have seen an outspoken one like Capt. Lewis...the job of a cop is very difficult, as he pointed out in the interview. They are assaulted verbally, spit on,etc., and he talks about it candidly....they are only human and have a job that I would never want or could even do,and yes, some behave badly, but then... so do some protestors. Either way, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable" JFK

  • off pigs

  • Ray is a real patriot. I always love seeing Laura. She needs to b on all the time. The rity tool, typically, only had personal insult and his own ignorance as "points"

  • WHY ARE THE COPS EVEN THEIR? THEY SHOULD BE OUT GOING AFTER CRIMINALS! NOT INTIMIDATING PROTESTERS.

  • they shot people in the 60's for protesting, so it's no surprise to me.

  • The title of this video is the misinterpretation of his message that Ray Lewis came on the show to correct.

  • there is a revolution going on, join in!

  • This guy is brave, honest, and sounds very reasonable. Kudos.

  • retired for 8 years and still wearing your uniform haha loser

  • @FochLibri Tell that to our Veterans of war thank you.

  • Since the second world war America has attempted to become the police man of this planet, it never has had a mandate for this...What is as inexplicable is the downright hypocrisy, of a nation that welcomed the Arab spring yet does not embrace the same freedoms for its own citizens......It is time this planet stood up to the bully of military might and stated we have had enough.....

  • @ducdejoyeuse Well, they CLAIMED to be pro Arab spring, but look at the TYT-vids covering it, & you'll see that it wasn't Americas govt being pro democracy in the middle east, but rather reluctantly repeating the lines it says to win votes. Did you see them saying the same thing about Bahrain or Saudi Arabia? Nope. Those dictators are "our sons of bitches", & the US govt hates to see them go, & will only do so if they think it's needed to be on the winning side.

  • He still makes excuses for law enforcement. Typical cop.

  • @rrhynes I don't like their actions as much as anyone else, but he's not wrong when he says they're human beings. That is correct, but that fact makes them even more susceptible to making extreme error of judgment because they are programmed against civil unrest and either don't know or care that they are being used. That woman is correct they already ARE mercenaries. And whoever that yuppie at the end is...last word McGee.To the uploader do you have the rest of this conversation?

  • @RoseWhiteRoseRed Then they should be punished like the rest of the population. They won't be , of course, because they're immune to prosecution. Most importantly, if they are just "tools", they shouldn't have badges and guns.

  • @rrhynes I agree wholly. They are abusing their powers and again we are talking as a whole and maybe not on this particular arrest. It seems the only cops that have been somewhat held accountable are the ones at UC Davis who only had to take leave without pay.

  • @RoseWhiteRoseRed I think the most important thing people fail to realize is that they most will not report on one another's bad deeds. They want you dependent on them, yet they lack the integrity to police themselves. It's disingenuous. Once they do something that their blatantly broad "policies andguidelines" they pretend to be just public service workers, except with the financial backing of their union. They disgust me.

  • @rrhynes Did you watch the same clip I did? Apparently not.

  • @TheLuckySaGe Yep. Same clip.Just reading past the bullshit. He's a typical cop who's scared to death to tell it like it is. He had have to indict many cops if he says what he knows to be true.

  • @rrhynes you are so dumb lol.

  • @TheLuckySaGe One of us is.

  • Of course he's wrong about them being mercenaries now. Wall street already has the ability to directly call up and hire NYPD for events as rent-a-cops.

  • sadly many comments i have heard from the 99% recently are " whats the point"... "It isint going to change things".....and the 1% are doing what they always have done Laughing at all of us.....The "System" WANTS THE PEOPLE to be lathargic, subdued and "lead" ....COME ON WORLD WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!! This 2012 thing is NOW!!!! Save yourself and save the planet!!!...peace

  • the man asking the questions. I'd say he has a great deal of empathy - towards the 1%, that is.

  • now they are criminalizing disabled and sick people who rely on welfare here in the UK. All with the government and their friendly corporation: ATOS.

People have already taken their own lives because of the brutality of the "work capability assessment".

Not that you would know about - as none of it has been covered in the news that most people watch.

We're very much on our own. A couple ended their lives last week and were found in their flat. People are worried.

  • @ 11:48 .... It's all OF a sudden, not all of THE sudden.

  • take back your country USA.come on.

  • The overlords send in *law enforcement* in front of news media to scare away the people who are still sitting at home in front of their tv...thinking about heading over to an Occupy location. Getting the protestors who are standing there, to leave, if they leave is just a bonus.

  • "positionality" Nice video but get the f*ck out of here with the made up words.

  • The one this I don't agree with is he says "cops are real people".

  • @rynomacamillion Cops are supposed to be above being openly angered by mere comments. Spitting is another matter and constitutes assault but mere insults should be water off a duck's back to these guys.

  • @CalumGilhooly totally totally agree. I mean if cops should be allowed to hit you because you made a naughty comment then why the hell do we have police training? We could just as easily gather around some thugs, give them a uniform and tell them to beat up a couple of people. Police should be like the law, blind, they should only enforce the law, not act like thugs and get involved with petty emotional bullshit.

  • @philateliceun Real thugs are too smart to join a police force.

  • Wait...they are letting him talk...wtf is going on here..that never happens!

  • @RetroactiveNZ You're confusing "Mox" with "Fox". Don't worry, nothing has changed!

  • They destroyed books?? Hmmm...what does that remind me of?

  • @tuxu14 wtf we are turnin into china wtf!!! the cencor bill now this buuuullllshitt!!! fuck man !!! Greedy ass Coorps i am fighting u assholes till death

  • This is a noble man for sure, and a real HERO. Take heed Adults, there should be more of you like him. Our children and true, honest Americans should not be ashamed to walk with the Occupiers. They are us. Retired officer knows what the problem is. He made it clear. And he deserves to be honored for the Courage he extended to these Occupiers, because they are us. Take a stand parents and adults. Where is your Courage?? Take back your Nation from the greedy Corps and Bought Congress. NOW.

  • @joan2897 Take it back by lobbying instead of annoying our campuses and work places. Take it back with your mind and not your mouth.

  • @joan2897 WHY WAS HE ARRESTED?????!!!

  • truly an officer who understands the motto

    to serve and protect

  • What a MAN!!!!

  • New 'Super Congress', same old special interestsWith the committee members owned by corporate donors and special interest lobbyists, reform is the last thing we can expect. TITLE CORRECT SEARCH

  • I live below poverty and my boss Michael Day just bought an Audi worth some $100,000.00 GREED!

  • @cHUCHo458 He's probably just trying to shovel value into a hole that will never fill. :(

  • @cHUCHo458 I HEAR YA BRO YOUR DAY WILL COME MATE TABLES GONNA TURN

  • @cHUCHo458 you don't get rich by working hard. you get rich by getting good people to work hard for you. Then earning a profit off the backs of their labor.

  • @cHUCHo458 Should have done better in school dumbfuck. I can tell you're below the poverty line on your computer and on youtube.

  • @cHUCHo458 Hahahaha! Don't make me laugh, please. Do you share your income with others? Oh... why not? Greed?

  • @atromos I think you read that wrong.... He said "I live below poverty" I don't know what wealth someone below the poverty line can have.

  • @cHUCHo458 You want to tell other people how to spend THEIR money. GREED!

  • @MrSubtle No, I want to tell other people who to stop spending MY money.

  • @shadowmastertx Ummm, is that $100,000 your money or his?

  • a real American hero and patriot. my hat is off to you, Mr. Lewis

  • Is it just me or does it seem like he's not saying everything he wants to say? I suspect he doesn't want to tell the whole truth and accuse other cops of misconduct on national TV.

  • Hey, he's a cop, and he thinks all cops ought to behave honourably. He's not Gen Smedley Butler USMC.Not yet.

  • I flew private plane from Madison WI directly from the workers rights protests to Columbus OH & occupied the capitol building w/Laura last year. Shes an awesome person. True Story.

  • Ray Lewis is actually sticking up for NYPD if you read between the lines. Hmmm...he might be a mole.

  • Errr, did Captain Lewis actually say this?

  • I'm proud to be a Philadelphian.

  • hmmm, it's looking like there's approximately 1 person who dislikes this video for every 99 that like it

  • If this looks bad, wait untl the Tea Bag Republican governors, newly elected, have convinced tax payers that a "privatized" police force will save you tax dollars..

First "privatize" jails & correcton officers, then move to the cops... now they have their own, bought & paid for "protection" & "solution" against the citizens of this country...

  • I am afraid that the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that banks can, and do create money...And they who control the credit of the nation, direct the policy of governments and hold in the hollow of their hands the destiny of the people. ~Reginald Mckenna~ former Chairman of the board, Midlands Bank of England"

  • Please people, check out this video called "Money as debt", and you will truly know who to blame for this entire slave trade we live in today. Corporations are to blame, but not as much as how money is created

  • @OodlesanNoodles "Aristotle defined hubris as shaming the victim, not because anything happened to you or might happen to you, but merely for your own gratification.[2] Hubris is not the requital of past injuries—that is revenge. As for the pleasure in hubris, its cause is this: men think that by ill-treating others they make their own superiority the greater."

  • @OodlesanNoodles Your response ignores the fact that there are far more job seekers than jobs. And it appears it is going to stay that way for quite some time. You should consider yourself lucky to have a job, and stop trying to belittle others. You are only showing your true hubristic nature.

  • Imperial Officer: You rebel scum.

  • We bailed out bad company owners, if we would have just let their businesses fail the market would have corrected itself and things would be flowing a little bit better. The fact that people are blaming "coporate america" is a joke. We need to look at the taxes levied on business owners if and when you look at that, you will see where alot of the money that can be paid to NEW employees is going. I work two jobs, I support myself in everyway possible, and I am 22. These protest make me sick.

  • people are left with the feeling of the last speaker. he was saying "jackasses vs. jackboots"... just makes me sigh...

  • I am really impressed by everyone in the panel and their patience, they never interrupted Cap. Lewis once and they actually respected his input. That is nice to see : )

(even though at the end the conservative writer was interrupted)

  • positionality....

  • JUST like that Marine Corps General: War Is A Racket.
