The Prophet Muhammad (saws) condemned spousal abuse as does the Quran. If you are so interested in protecting women from abuse it would be more logical to begin with your own society as statistics show that a woman is beaten every four minutes and raped every hour here in the good ole' U.S. of A.

Saya juga sering hadir di masjid Al-Munawar, Jakarta, Saat Habib Umar Datang saya juga hadir, saat itu lebih dari 30.000 orang yang hadir padahal saat itu masjid hanya bisa menampung 5.000 jamaah. Saat Habib Umar datang yang kedua kalinya (dalam bulan itu juga)jumlah hadirin makin banyak, bahkan sampai berdiri sepanjang jalan raya pasar minggu, yang panjangnya kurang lebih 2 s/d 3 km
