The world is like this movie. It doesn't make sense. There is no plot that gets unrivaled then comes to a climatic happy ending. We're just here and everyone's trying to find there way. In the end we find out no matter how much power we think we have. Our own motives are meaningless and everything was designed, planed and over before we got here...... At least that's why I get out of it.

My wife's response to Southland Tales was... "Well there's 2-1/2 of my life I'm never getting back." I do understand why people don't like it, but it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. I've watched it a dozen times and have absolutely no idea what it's about.

I don't recommend watching the extras where the director keeps calling it a comedy, making the film make even less sense (and having seen it a few times I've become convinced he gave up on the plot during filming.) But as lousy films go it's a very watchable one if that makes sense.

this film was fucking fantastic, its really easy to understand, I got it on the first viewing. Its about the second coming, and how it will be precieved. if you haven't seen it, I recommend that you do, it takes frequent viewings, but is worth it in the end.

It's still confusing, but it does make sense, even this scene does, since "all the things I've done" was the song Pilot (justing T.) was listening to before geting a granade to his face and the drug induces a halucination with the song in it

It's a lame attempt at a message for soldiers that isn't done very well cause we don't go into timberlake's character besides him magically knowing everything (cause of some substance that makes him psychic) So he knows the world is going to end as do some other characters in the film but this scene...yeah just random. Movie sucks, it's done by an intelligent individual, but it sucks still, in fact it sucks more cause of how high it aims
