Why does everyone have to compare us to Utah State? It is seriously pissing me off. They're better? Okay, big whoop. We're still darn good at the chant, and widely considered the best student section in the MAC. You know what, we're happy with that, and don't need to go around bashing other student sections to make ourselves feel better (except miami, f them lol).

I went to Akron and went to most of the Akron games a few years ago, and I gotta tell ya, out of all MAC arenas, this is the toughest place to play. And the student section is the main reason why. I love the Convo, always enjoyed games there.

Read the rest of the comments and you'll know that, 1. Yes, UCLA does a similar chant and 2. This is Ohio University's 0 Zone student section and they have done this since the 60's.. Who was first? I don't know, but it's still fun either way.

Actually, no. The "winning team/losing team" chant was done by OU students in the 60's. Whether or not UCLA did as well, I don't know. But still, it's a chant that's been at Ohio for nearly 40 years.
