How do you guys get that tone? I've been thinking about getting an epiphone dot studio semi- hollow guitar because of the awesome bassy, warm tone it has. What gear do you guys recommend? BTW amazing song and video :)

@hobgoblinhobo313 I have an epiphone dot dude. It fucking rules. Plays so damn smooth and sounds amazing. Don't buy one without playing it though. Out of the five I played, they all sucked except the one I bought. Thing is for this type of tone I would probably go for something with a solidbody. Check out the company agile guitars. They make really cheap gibson knockoffs that kickass. Also you have to realize the tone of this style of music owes more to your amplifiers than your guitar.

In the studio the bass was DI'ed. We've got a music video in the works right now for the new album, which is going to be released sometime in the next few months.

As far as I know, Mitch runs his bass into his setup dry, the amp is just really fucking strong as hell.

I've been able to get a tone that's pretty close to this with a Bass Big Muff on a solid state, though. Just not as warm, I'm afraid.
