  • @Camarorsguy, did you not read he had a supercharger on there? Or better yet hear it? Of course he's going to beat the wrx

  • This is not a WRX. I'm a Chevy guy but If it were a WRX the trailblazer would have been in the rearview of the WRX. It wouldn't even have been close.

  • that ride height is just righ on that.. nice work

  • No offence but the sc I thought was a kid in the subaru crying...

  • wow that ss sounds like a beast gotta love the wine of that charger

  • kinda dangerous racing uphill on a foggy mountain?

but anyway great job on the SS i bet that will walk over any srt-8 jeep

  • @cdude100 4wd bra

  • @broncbulls what does 4wd have to do with anything im talking about

  • @cdude100 if there cars had rwd we wouldn't be talking in the first place....thats what it has to do with it.

  • fuck!!! that supercharger sounds SEXY!!!

  • wow. thats sick. i love scoobies. but chevs put out some amazing shit. i have a 4.3 vortec s10 blazer. and it isnt much till u put your foot to the floor. watching what ur TB can do is inspiring. nice vid man look forward to more.

  • sick truck dude. love the sc whine.

  • The SS looks sick, but considering I felt like I was going to roll over even when driving my mother's straight 6 Trailblazer the idea of putting an huge V8 under the hoods just seems dangerous. Fun, of course, but dangerous. Obviously they were not meant for the curves, but at the end of the day we do not live in a world where you never turn left or right. That's why I'll pick a Jeep over the SS. Data might prove me incorrect, but the perception of the roll in trailblazers is very high.

  • Automatic ftw!

  • hey bud i was curious about a few things?im goin to buy a tbss, but i live where it snows so does the awd justify its self enuff for me to get it over the rwd?how much faster is the rwd stock?how well do these 6.0's and trannys do stock under boost? im thinkin of maybe a awd tbss with a magnuson or sts turbo kit, what do you suggest? i want it to be a yearly driver that acts stock but can run mid to low 12's. what would i need to do this on a awd tbss without goin into the motor or nos? thanks

  • You basically skip all that and buy an SRT-8 JEEP .

  • that was a option but for a srt8 jeep with the mileage i want (under 30k) they still cost over $30k,and they run low 13's so what im getin at is,i can get a tbss with the mileage i want for around $22-$23k add the turbos or supercharger, tune, headers+exhaust, and build the tranny for a a total investment of around $30k and it will run high 11's for the same price of the jeep. i like both equally the same but i cant justify the jeep. im just not sure of a all wheel drive or rear wheel drive.

  • @BLACKLACDTS well good luck trying to keep a drive shaft in it then. and awd is faster than rwd man...i have a jeep srt8 and the awd in the snow is awesome. i live in fargo, nd so we get plenty of it. ive raced a trailblazer ss with headers, catback, and a magnacharger set at 5 psi and i beat him to 60 and he started catching me around 80. they take alot to go faster. with basic bolt ons i spent 800 on the jeep and am now running mid 12s and the quality of the jeep is far superior to the tbss

  • @AWDSRT8Jeep come on bro you beat a maggie trailblazer!!! lmfao!!! well my friend eddy would gladly race you if you were closer in his bolt on ss that runs very well! matter of fact i just watched him spank a new sti wrx 2nite!. and i dont know how the hell you can say that a chrysler product is built better then gm. and im goin to address the dumbest thing you said, awd is faster then rwd? lmfao are you serious? sumbody should tell them funny cars drivers this new news! awd is way heavier!

  • @BLACKLACDTS you have to spend like well over a grand to get a stock ss to keep up with an srt8. and for the funny cars and rails...we arent talking tires that are 3 foot wide slicks and made of ultra sticky material where the engine is practically over the tires on rails. btw awd is usually only 70-80 pounds heavier. your adding half shafts, and a different differential in the front with a transfer case if you hammer it in a rwd ss it would spin. when i hammer it i go 0-60 in 4.5 seconds

  • @AWDSRT8Jeep awd is alot heavier then what you think. its additional axle, drive shaft, transfercase, bracing etc.. why do you think all the trailblazer ss's that run 9s are rwd? awd is ideal for a 11,12 and 13 sec street car but when you really start movin it limits you.i have a friend with a 92 mustang street car that has a 600hp 408 windsor that runs 10.40s on drag radials and on the street it almost dead hooks! he can actually get it to hook on pep boy radilas! its all in the suspension

  • @BLACKLACDTS pretty hard to beat me in a vehicle where wheel spin never ends. yeah he has way more hp.but when he smokes tires, i take off with no wheel spin and kick his ass up to 60. i said i beat him to 60. he caught me pretty fast by the time we hit 80. but in the 1/4 we are almost the same. his best time was 13 flat and i have ran a 13.05

  • @AWDSRT8Jeep obviously you raced a 2wd ss.the aftermarket is way stronger for the ss. 13 flat for a supercharged ss is slow. my friends bolt on awd ss beats new evos and sti's almost everyday.i can buy the srt8 for $33k or the ss for $21k and have $12k to mod which would consist of a built tranny,turbo/supercharger,cam,headers and exhaust and a great tune which would safely put me in the 11s while the srt would still be stock runnin low 13s. i know my choice.

  • @BLACKLACDTS why do you think the value of the tbss has dropped so far? becuase of quality, if youre going to do it, do it right, buy the jeep. i have 70k miles on mine now, and havent fixed anything...and i mean anything. all ive done is changed the oil every 8k miles with 0w 40 royal purple. and the oil filter every 3k o and ive bought new tires...

  • @BLACKLACDTS do sum research on LS based engines then make a comment. they are harder to make fast then a 6.1 hemi? no way! do research dude for real

  • @BLACKLACDTS do you realize that the 6.1 hemi is relatively identical to the ls2 6 liter? both pushrod v8s, nearly identical displacement, same mileage, the hemi has a HP advantage of 30 hp, but other than that they are the same.

  • @AWDSRT8Jeep no i didnt realize they are almost identical. thats like saying the chevy 350 and dodge 340 are the same. its actually a shame that the 6.1 hemi is built like it is and only makes 425hp.like i said i like the srt8 jeep but its not a practcal vehical for me. aftermarket parts are ridiculous ly priced for it and theres not a large variety.the motor platform in the ss has been built since 98 and there is huge aftermarket for ls motors. if i didnt plan on moddin i would still buy the ss

  • @AWDSRT8Jeep the tbss has different gearing in the trans than a srt change the "tune" $100 shift points get you to keep up with a srt8 but on the freeway tbss rules the srt8 like a raped goat and saved 10grand that you paid extra for the jeep i post the difference in my truck have it run 11s all day

  • sounds like an electric car lol but hella fast

  • major props sick SS

  • what kind of trans do you have stock stage 2 or 3...i have an stage 2 whit an lot of problem,s i keep frying 3rd and 4th bands...

  • LS motors have got to be one of the best line of engines ever made by anyone. plain, simple, and fast! love em'!

  • awesome sound,,,

  • Great runs what does it do in a 1/4 mile
