I would LOVE if you made more videos like this one, with Pointe. Maybe even one that's a cross hybrid between sexy/erotic and ballet. Something with a little more raw sensuality.
As a pole dancer - your tricks were soo close to being perfect. I think if you re-do that video you'll feel much more awesome.... As you already have pointe down and know your ticks
@balletfan162 Can you not see the elastics on the shoes? That's enough to hold them on, even professional dancers don't always wear ribbons for ease of removal.
@sbec85 it's wrong about dancers not wearing ribbons, however it is enough to hold them on, just not properly or safely. ribbons not only "look pretty", they are there to support the ankle.
@EvanescenceROCKSS It is true; my ballet teacher is a professional dancer, who practices this. As does her fellow corp dancers. It's a fairly common practice.
@sbec85 but it is needed to support the ankle, and i think that her only wearing elastics isn't safe enough. she might not have ever hurt her foot by doing that yet, but she might do in the future. and that could very well end her entire career, not just as a dancer but as a dance teacher aswell. may i ask what her name is?

your ballet is very beautiful and graceful, but I felt a lack of grace and lightness in poledance... try to be more subtle and more expressive in movements and will be perfect!

Very beautiful! Only the piece from 1:19 - till 1:47 looked awkward, th erst was really beautiful combination of two styles, bravo!
