  • my second fav ride ;) its hard to choose this one and pirates always been my fav ..so its a tie for me

  • Hey it's Gimli.

they should have made this into a movie when Ford was younger.

  • one time everyone did not look into the eyes and it still says it

  • aww dammit, night-vision just kills the effect of the ride

  • @LAsuperfly94 - I stay away from NV as much as I can but this ride is just way too dark and had to use it in spots.

  • i-went-through-all-3-paths

  • it's funny when I celebrated the 30th anniversary of Raiders of the Lost Ark by posting on my Facebook page, one of my friends said to me "Ur a Big Nerd" LMAO!!!!!, that made me laugh so hard

  • No joke, I was just listening to "Spurs That Go Jingle Jingle" earlier today!!!!!

  • You did a great job of not capturing any people in the first 5-6 minutes!! Felt like the real thing

  • Really, kay kyser? Try not to fallout in new vegas.

  • 7:00 "You see the excellence of this invention?"

XD haha oh how I love him

  • Everytime I ride this thing some jerk always has to look into the eyes and we end up on this crazy adventure and almost die. Some people..

  • @328805 Next time . . . y'all need blindfolds.

  • DONT LOOK INTO MY EYESSSSSSSSSS

    -looks into her eyes-

  • i lovee indiana jones the ride . & i like how the made like the tunnel inside the place very nice & dope haha . just went ther a couple of weeks i wanna go back!!

  • This looks like a cool ride but I live in Florida and have been to DisneyWorld near Orlando hundreds of times throughout my life. Does anyone know why they never brought this ride to Florida?

  • The ride looked slow and boring from what I saw on the film. The snaking coming alive was cool. It was so dark, that you couldn't see much. It kind of reminded me of the ET ride at Universal only with a lot more rocking and shaking. I want to see a full video on the Spiderman ride at Universal Studios.

  • you should go on the monsters inc. ride and see what ros says to you :) i'd like to c that

  • i love how they blindfolded the eyes at the beggining when i was younger i didnt listen and that's how i knew "not to look into the eyes of mara" lol

  • i love this ride, i subbed, and i CAN'T stop watching this <3 disney!

  • This is the greatest ride ever.

  • WOW, when u entered the temple I felt like I was in a real adventure! thx :)

  • Wasn't worth the 90 minute wait.

  • Thank you so much for all of your great videos! I haven't been able to go to Disneyland in almost 3 years and your videos are the only thing keeping me from going crazy from Disney withdrawl.

  • get it in disney in florida than ii can ride it lol

  • THEY USE TO HAVE 3 DIFFERENT DOORS AND YOU NEVER KNEW WHICH ONE YOU WERE GONNA GO THROUGH. MADE IT EXCITING.

  • I woke up today with a real hankering to ride this ride. only problem, I live in Texas... thanks for satisfying this craving sir.

  • i am taking m best friend to this happy land for the first time XDD

  • Whoa! Key Kyser! He's the man! Lol..

  • When my brother and I go on this ride, after the idle says "Look into my eyes..." my brother always screams "OKAY-WHO LOOKED?!?!"

  • i have an idea for an indina jones ride in Orlando, i have been working on something for it and i will post it in a week on here. Im going to Disneyland tommorrow (However u spell it) but splash mountain and star tours are gonna be closed for refurbishment :(

  • Thanks RU42, you're series on Disney rides videos is more than above average with nice audio additions. I posted most of the series on my facebook page. Very impressed.

  • Maras a dude

  • Maras a dude

  • You have to be there to experience it for rellz lol I'm commenting from disneyland

  • You made a great video. i was impressed with the audio and images of the intro.the audio dynamics of when somebody touched the pole when it said danger was the cherry on the top.

  • @ShidamProductions - Thank you very much!

  • I like the lava scene where the Jeep is on the bridge with a green light that comes out of Mara's eyes. British actor John Rhys-Davis hosts this ride as Sallah.

  • Do you have any of this with Space Mountain and World of Color?

  • really funny to think that indiana jones is not a disney film yet here the ride is in disneyland lol

  • @chelzeydarling the reason is disney partnered with george lucas to make this ride and that also goes with star tours. Hope that clears it up.

  • 40 people looked into the eyes of Mara.

  • I once got stuck on this ride where Indie is on the rope. Not the best sight to see when the balls rolling in place.

  • oh my god why are you sooooooooooo good? i tried this and it ended up looking like crap!!!!

  • @killerspiderwebs - remember I am a professional; please don't try this at home ;) Thank you for the compliments. I work hard getting good video then editing it together. IJA is one of the toughest because you have to combat darkness and severe rocking.

  • if only yhey had this at disney WORLD!

  • @LegoKing345 No. Disney World has already ripped off Disneyland too many times.

  • i thought that boulder was really going to fall on us when i went on the ride o.o

  • This is the one of the only rides that we can throw in Orlando's face that we have and they lack. xD

This is perfect! How do you get ahold of the music? I love it! I've bought your DVDs before. My friends are always borrowing them (especially Fantasmic). Keep up the great work!

  • @Seanesso - thank you very much, I am glad everyone likes the DVDs!

  • @Seanesso haha ya i go to orlando and i wish they had this ride!

  • @Seanesso Lolz your right. Our rides aren't all that in Orlando.

And all we have for Indiana Jones is a show. Bleh.

  • didnt this ride get taken down i remember taking this one like 8 yrs ago and in the end there was a huge boulder coming at you in the end and i nvr figgured it out what happened to this day and im 18 now lol >.<

  • it has been a long time i have been to disneyland. the last time i went was when i was five years old! luckly next year we're going there for our class trip!!!!! can't wait to see how much has changed!!!! :D

  • OMG you caught it perfectly it looks like ur walking alone in the caves and the music is suspenseful and your catching everything that is true movie making when you make the audience feel apart.

  • @RSA20 - thank you very much on all accounts. I worked hard to get the line to myself; a few tricks I learned here and there and some very nice CMs. I am glad you enjoyed watching.

  • I wish I could go there, DisneyWORLD is boring (THAT IS UNTIL THE EXPANDMENT IS OVER!)

  • this ride is awsome, I went on it like 4 times

  • what actually happens if u look into the eyes of the idol?i never figured it out

  • @MrHaon8203

the eyes just kinda flash, if your eyes are weak against bright sharp lights you might hurt your eyes and some people who get seizures easily might get a seizure looking into the flashes but thats very extreme since the flashes last only like 3 sec

  • Music fits perfectly!

  • Hehe at the very end if you look closely at the dude leaning againts the wall he's cross eyed xD!!

  • 2:28 i love this part of the soundpack...makes me feel like an archeaologist especially when i wait in line and see all the cool designs and all that

  • Wow, I didn't realize it was a bit different from the ride in Tokyo Disney Sea. I miss Anaheim Disneyland so much!!! I live in Japan now so I've only been to TDL and DS the last few years...great video, I'll be watching these until I can actually get to the US parks one day. :)

  • I rode this once in '96...one of the top 10 moments in my life! The walk-up was so much detailed fun, and the ride completely suspended my disbelief (I still have no idea how we dodged the Giant Boulder of Crushing Death). I wonder if it still holds up as well today. Thank you for posting this and bringing back some mind-blowing memories.

  • do you move fast in this ride? Because my 6 year old cousin is scared of rides that move fast.

I really want to go on this ride. *.* It looks so much fun.

  • @ThePoeticAngel You really move only as fast as 14 mph, but due to the motion simulation, it feels a lot faster.

  • @averyt1994

    ok thanks! :)

  • Nice filming job!

  • coolest ride of all of disney's other attractions in my opinion. fun and just great for everybody who can hold in their lunch (easy to do).

  • lol dont touch pole you did just what i did i just grabbed it

  • anyone know where to buy silver minnie ears???

  • i love this ride; i always pull at the bamboo and make the ceiling collapse in the walk thru to the ride. scares the crap out of the noobies hahaha! plus this ride is absolute pure fun too :P

  • this is like my fav ride . the wealth path is the best

  • 40 people missed the like button.

  • I love this ride me and my family ,would get on ride ,then get back in line at least 5 times that the guy who was running it had to kick us off !

  • BEST RIDE EVER!!!

  • It would be funny if when you see the snake you say I spilled liquids in my pants!

  • I went to Disneyland a few weeks ago and i rode this 5 times, i love this ride, Disneyland sure is great, also the Matterhorn is good!

  • The great thing about this ride is that the line is just as entertaining as the ride. The detail and design is incredible!

  • @faeriegeek Yeah, it gives you a great deal of suspense. Another good example was the Dueling Dragons coaster. It had such an impressive looking like I thought it was better than the actual ride itself, though the ride was still good. If I could, I would probably make a contest of how good you could make a queue for a themed attraction.

  • @faeriegeek i agree:]

  • I CAN'T WAIT I AM GOING!! :D :) July 23rd thru July 26 for my 17th birthday!!! :D I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!! Truly the best place on earth!♥ :)

  • @mariseladullum omg really? Im going on Auhust 11th! It's really hard for me to wait ...

  • @hellokitty549 haha I KNOW i can barley wait to and i am leaving tomorrow!!!! :O :P and i hope you have fun too!!! :D :) and i LOVE your username! :D :) Disney is so AMAZING!!!!!!♥

  • everytime when my grandpa drives me somewhere,i always think of this ride. next time he drives me somewhere,i'll bring indy's hat with me and wear it for safety and hope i stay alive :O

  • THAT WAS A FUN RIDE!!!!!!! :D I was on the end and the cobra almost ate meh! LOL :D

  • I hate that snake.

  • I went on this ride in 2001. There is one part where it looks like your gonna smash your head against the wall haha I remember buying a shirt from the temple of doom movie with shortround on the back haha

  • best ride in disneyland hands down its lyk your in another world in a hidden temple in the middle of the indian jungles

  • i miss this ride. only been to disneyland like 10 times, if thats not alot! want to go all my friends are going this summer!

  • I love the Cavern Of Bubbling Death part, because I've had experiences with volcanoes when I learned about them in Science class at Raoul Wallenberg High School.

  • the attention to detail on this ride is incredible. you need to ride a few times just to see everything. Typical disney ride=awesome!

  • O man o man, how this ride has affected me...in a good way. I would have dreams about this ride and would miss it so damn much when came back from summer.

I would miss it so much that when i was young i would sit at my school desk and then slump back into my chair, grasp the desk and shake back and fourth up and down like i was still there riding it.

It was definitely the highlight of my summer when i was a kid and i my opinion on of the best and most immersive rides disney has to offer.

  • I hate how the line for this ride is really long because of children who all of a sudden like Indiana Jones cause of the 2008 film... crap.

  • the first time i went on this ride i was 6 and i cried rofl, indiana is the best and were always my favourite movies, it's funny how i cried on this ride but not the california screamer, well i'm going this sunday so i guess i will see if i will cry again!

  • fountain of youth, unlimited weatlh?, power?!??! meh they all the same we all get hit by a boulder sooner or later :P

  • my grandfather made the indianas, as well as a lot of the stuff on other rides, like the original pirates

  • Great job on filming this on a slow day!!!!! I guess you have to ride this one a thousand times to get all the details in.......I only hope to ride it once, 'cause I'm not living anywhere near it...

  • one of the best rides disney has to offer. I remember when it first opened, they gave you a little book with translations of the signs on the wall, pretty neat stuff, but i havent been there in ages, dont know if they still do it today.

  • @XXNeMo818XX - - Unfortunately no. ATT sponsored the ride and the cards. Guests would mainly get bored and toss them on the ground making quite a mess. So it was stopped. You can see the translations at City Hall (just ask.) You can find a picture of the card at Hidden Mickeys

  • @ru42 Ah, gotcha. Thanks for the info.

  • @ru42 Do they sell that book of Hidden Mickeys at Disneyland or where? O and what do you mean bye-You can find a picture of the card at Hidden Mickeys - It kinda´confused me a bit. Thank for your vids, theyre great.

  • they dont

  • @XXNeMo818XX I remember getting those cards back in the mid '90s. It actually WAS pretty fun to translate the signs on the walls...but then again, my family had the fastpass, so I only had to wait like 5 minutes for the ride to begin :)

  • @k308rd6h - - There has never been a death on this ride. If you get motion sick easy I would recommend that you do not ride this attraction.

  • @savemartchecker - - not sure what you are talking about

  • @savemartchecker fffffgghjhjhghgdhgdjghfgdgdgdgdgfggghtghtgrghgfhfdhrfhgfhghddhfgdhhfhdfhfhhfghfdfghfghgdhdffgghfghfdhffghfghjfgdfggdhgfhfghfghgehjsururywyyeeyfygfydyysysysysysyssysyys

  • for some odd reason, i always get stuck with the green alligator god room...

  • loved it ty for post!

  • The best part about this ride was walking to it, they really put alot of effort into making feel like the movies.

  • yay my favorite!!!

  • I like the boulder part i literally screamed the first time I went on it

  • I went a few summers ago, and the ride had some problems while i was in line. A bunch of people left, but I stayed and sat down to wait... before I knew it, I was asleep, and my dad was shaking me awake because the line was moving!

  • that has got to be the most detailed ride queue in the world!

  • @Maxpower13 - That's one thing that makes Disney attractions stand out from the rest!

  • I've never been to disneyland but seeing your videos makes me want to go.

  • can anybody tell me the name of song from the band from begining please!!!!!

  • @DEVILDOG502 just use this dirpy.com. its pretty self explanatory on what you have to do.

  • It would've made the ride so much cooler if it were actually Harrison Ford doing the V.O. work for the Indy animatronic.

  • @NikkisBabe87 I know! Did you know that Harrison Ford got married to someone?

  • ive gotten stuck on indiana jones 3 times in a row... it was not fun :( but i still love this ride!!!

  • i very much liked how you showed all the features before the ride even started. for those who haven't gone on this ride, let me tell you first hand it was amazing, and to many's relief, not the ruffest :D the only problem is, there is so much machinery involved in the effects of this ride, the ride sometimes glitches up and riders muct wait for it to be repared. GO ON IT!!

  • i love this. disneyland is amazing.

  • i just went a few weeks ago ago and i realized that they changed the way he was trying to close the door when you first see him. Before he was pushing with his back against it and the colors inside the door were purple. Now he has his shoulder against it and there is like a rainbow inside.

  • @mocha41 I noticed that also

  • Greatest ride in the whole freaken world

  • isn't that same as in tokyo disneysea temple of the crystal skull?

  • @ajgundamdesu - The ride layout is exactly the same, but the storyline, appearance, and effects are different between parks. In DisneySea, the attraction features mostly laser effects, while the original Disneyland version features lasers as well as pyrotechnics.

  • I always get wealth. I have never gotten the other two.

  • @KilasuYama - The "Observatory of the Future" option features variations of the [vocal] audio not heard otherwise.

  • its funny cuz when i first went on this ride, i thought the sign at 4:00 said "beware of bots"

  • DONT LOOK INTO THE EYE!!!

  • lol try having you guys's hands up its hard you have to hold on i let my hands up and i has a bunch of turns and twists it was hard to hold on i almost fell off

  • you guys are really lucky you get to go so many times. im on the other side of the world :(

  • cooooool ride

  • i love this ride!

  • i SUCCEEDED throughout this ride without no hands!! :DD ...i dare you to try. it's hard... not gunna lie. its hard.. ;D

  • I pulled the rope, man that was a bad idea.

  • haha i did that too!!! :D :P and i scared my little cousin haha i felt bad but, it was really funny cuz he screamed like a girl!! haha :P

  • whenever i pull the rope nothing happens :(

  • @purehumanenergy89 - If you keep pulling, you eventually hear metal objects clattering and an archaeologist shouting complaints with a British accent.

  • HOLY...i never realized there were 3 entrances....It always seems to be the far Left one whenever i ride....

  • How many times a year do you go to Disneyland? :) :D

  • I used to live 10 minutes from the Park and for longer then you.

The problem with the title is that YouTube does not allow me enough characters to write in the full title. Getting Disneyland in the title was more important to me (for peoples searches) then getting the word eye in there.

  • kinda mad that disney world doesnt have this... then i remeber that they have expedition everest, dinosaur, test track, mission space, rock n roller coaster and tower of terror ;D good vid btw!

  • @SGarv04 Don't forget California Adventure has a roller coaster and Tower of terror

  • @Scarface966 yea, I've been there but the roller coaster is just plain and unthemed, totally unlike disney and the tower of terror there looks ugly lol (but better ride)

  • Im going in June. Every day that i go to disneyland ,this is always the first ride I go on. My favorite

  • so i dont ujndesrtand something....i been on this ride like 84764564 timee lol...ok like 5.000 times i think...and i still cant figure out how if there 3 temples or entrances how do they make it so u end up on the same route? like on 8:32?....anyone understand what im saying?

  • I understand what you are saying. Just do a Google search on Indiana Jones Adventure Doors and the 2nd one down is the Wiki entry. It has a great illustration of what happens.

  • LOl, i know what your saying and i do wonder about those others doors you see in the beginning of the ride

  • @carmineglitch - They're periodically switched out for slightly different onride experiences.

  • This is probably the best quality I found for this ride on youtube. Excellent. Great job.

  • when i was really little(like 4-5) i was terrified when we walked through the line and had to have my mom walk me out, now i love it!

  • it would be so fricken creepy to go through that alown

  • @bestgamer2112 It didn't scare me but for first timers I would say yes it would scare you especially little kids.

  • @bestgamer2112 Id love o do that :D

  • their indiana dummy was so well built, i actually thought it was a staff member until i stared for like 5 seconds.

  • @xXYurakaXx lol me too!! for like 3 years i thought it was a real person until one day i really looked at it and realized it wasnt real!

  • @xXYurakaXx - Later this year, they will be replacing all the Indiana Jones AA figures with newer ones, reflecting the same level of technology implemented in "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln."

  • @xXYurakaXx lol really

  • reply back please what happened when you touched the pole

  • that pole was supposed to be what was keeping the spikes on the ceiling from coming down on you so when you touch the pole it's supposed to make a sound like the ceiling is shaking or something along those lines.

  • the spikes from the ceiling start coming down, but they dont touch you.

  • @firegoddess1

When you move the pole a bit, the ceiling actually begins to fall and spikes come out. It's great, and I freaked the fuck out the first time I saw it.

  • @firegoddess1 nothing.. the pole just jiggles. it's a trick haha

  • um sorry but i already GOT my answer thanks to ajmizhurr so i didnt need yours

  • Haha! I went there 19 times in one year - and now, three years later, i've been there 41 TIMES! And still it never gets old! I love it!

  • i want to ride this ride really bad! Before i wasn't even tall enough. Now i am! But then it was closed because i think it was an earthquake. :( i want to ride it really bad! I wonder when i'm going to Disneyland again

  • @TheAmber72 - I hate it when they have earthquakes at Disneyland! They have to shut down all attractions simultaneously, with a maintenance crew inspecting them individually one-by-one afterward before they can be reopened...

  • One of my favorite rides!

    & pirates of the Caribbean.

  • 4:46 You *HAD* To touch the pole, didn't you?

  • uh oh! boulders! look out! duck!

  • do single rider on indiana jones were you ge a pass, and you go on in the exit, and you get on almost like a fastpass! But, your party will be seperated if you do this
