@Gloommix "Germania" is the italian word for "Germany". The writers of Hetalia decided to call the Northen European territory which was not part of the Roman Empire that, I don't know why.

It was not a country at all though, the different populations that lived there weren't even united, but they were still one of the main reason why the Empire fell.

@Gloommix Also just wanted to add that what is considered Germania was all of the Germanic tribes that now make up present day Germany (among other areas but I'm tired and I don't remember how far they reached). The Germanic tribes are actually the ones who came in a kicked the Holy Roman Empires butts, and Prussia was the first actually country to come out of them

It is Axis powers hetalia, Or Hetalia: Axis Powers. It is basically about countries personified as people and is mainly focused on WWII but skips around too. It is extremely funny and most of the time pokes fun at history.
