I have bittersweet memories of that place from the mid- to late 90s, that was mine and an ex's hangout--so I associate Freddy's a lot with a woman who broke my heart! If I was the vengeful type I would have wanted it razed to the ground. I lived on the Park Slope/Prospect Heights border at the time (technically on the "Slope" side of Flatbush--Prospect Heights hadn't become all gentrified yet). Later I lived in the South Slope. At the moment I've been deported from Brooklyn entirely.
