he's wrong on 1 point. christianity and juadism are just the same as the islam. They did sick things in history and a civilisation based on christianity or juadism is just the same as a civilisation based on the islam. People should focus on a full humanistic culture without any religion.

It's about strategy and tactic. He is a politician. I don't think he is deceiving Jews/Christians, no. But I think he might be pleasing Xtians and Jews a little more than he personally would want to.

@ahmedelfak What Geert is actually proposing is a culture that resembles a North Western European society in the 80s. Who would deny that sth like that is far healthier than Iran or Saudi Arabia or just any other average muslim country?
Christianity has undergone enlightenment for 100s of years and it has practically no say any more. That is what makes it different from islam

@ahmedelfak Also note that Geert himself actually IS an atheist, but in order to make a solidary movement against a turbo-totalitarian force it would be silly and uneffective to split the movement. He tries to address ALL parties. Our politicians from the German "Freedom party" are not smart enough and haven't learnt from it, that's why they failed.

A true atheist would turn his back to all the religions instead of promoting Christianity and Juadism to attack the Islam. I got a feeling he is just attacking the Islam to make a wall between 2 groups, and that is not right. We should work together and listen to eachother to build knowledge and lose religion. But don't get me wrong, a lot of muslims are also creating a wall for themself.

Was it destroying society and culture when we here in the west translated those texts from Arabic to our languages in order to bring them back to us? All he knew was Judaism and Christianity. He was illiterate how could he fully understand judaism. One of them is lying and it ain't Jesus or Judaism. Jesus fulfilled the old testament. No more circumcision, sacrifice etc, instead it is now turn the cheek when you are struck. If you even get angry with someone you are guilty of murder, desire to lay with a woman and you have committed adultery.
God is a cavenant keeping, loving, merciful God. Not an unpredictable one who is to be feared.
