is he standard tuned? How the hell did he get his strings so loose with standard tuning? When I watch him bend a string he can basicly go nuts if he wants to... I tune in drop C just to be able to bend like that.

@disabledmind just use 9s or get a guitar with shorter scale length. Les Pauls are much bendier (24.75 scale length) than standard Strats for example (25.5 normally).

The more you play and the more you learn then soon you'll develop a style of playing that will sound wicked to those around you but so easy to play

I hate it when licklibrary changes solos and make them look so difficult...

Untill the bend part, the solo only contains a G major arpeggio (ascending) and then about a half descending and ascending again, making it a big part of the solo (again, untill the bend part).
