Ive heard ppl say it should be earth, water, fire and air- which sounds wrong, and ppl say it should be earth, wind, water, and air- which makes no sense and brings us back to the original problem. Has anyone thought of saying earth, fire, water and air? It sounds SO much better. And ps, there is no 5th element- energy is included in ALL the elements. You have it there. Wind is air moving. Your reason is good, but wind isn't a person. It's like saying "ice and steam is the same as water" or "clouds are the same as rain". You don't say "the air is blowing hard", do you?

First of all ice, steam, clouds, rain and water are all the same. Secondly the only reason we use the word wind is to denote moving air, the element itself has not changed. Thirdly if the song was sung your way it would be "Earth, lava, magma, wind, air, cyclone, vortex, fire, plasma, ionic gas, water, ice, steam, clouds, rain, wave, whirlpool, etc", which would screw up the rythem.
