hi whats your setup? are you just using guitar > micro cube?
also is there anyway to get it sounding even more than you have it? im into alot of extreme music and i need a good amp for practice, can i use my pedal with it?
You can use any pedal you like in front of the amp, the r-fier mode is very "heavy" style, so I don't think you need to get it sounding more extreme than this...
shredding gets on my tits...i cant do it but thats not why...pllearning to play fast isnt as hard as it lukls.just gives the impressing of something impressive.,.i hav no interest in doing it... it lacks a certain musical quality....bit like shouting your mouth off, your not ciltivating anything congenial, just making noise. imo of course. paul kossoffs my guitar hero. could say more with one note than many can with 20
A white les paul studio with swapped pups...I've been thinking about doing that. Especially because I could always switch back to the burstbuckers. I kinda want to put in the open sets that are in les paul classics
Depends on the make. I absolutely hate all gibsons and epiphones made after '04-'05 era. Quality went to shit. I've got an Agile les paul clone, AL-3000, absolutely love it.
Also have a Jackson RR3. I can't say either guitar is better. They're suited to different styles of music. The Les Paul has nice action and sustain, warm bright pickups, and a sturdy heavy body. The jackson has a floyd rose and a thinner neck. Jackson = shred. Les Paul = well rounded solos & rhythm.
@spikesrockband ahaha buddy you are comparing apples to oranges, two totally different flavours of guitar... personally, my 2005 Les Paul Limited Edition will blow the doors off of your jackson in any department. Why? because my Gibson is 100 guitars in 1 with its amazing different tone adjustments, whereas your jackson is only good for one thing... rock/metal. =)
Well, I don't think ebony give better sustain actually, but I prefer it estetically, if you know what I mean ;) Ebony give a thighest sound, rosewood is more warm!
I'm a noob so what settings should I set the knobs on for both my guitar and Micro Cube amp to play metal Zeppelin type? I try but it sounds too distorted. I try different changes With the knob but it sounds distorted and messy, especailly on the 6th and 5th string.
@moderndaydelilah93 dumbest comment I ever read on youtube, and I've read some pretty dumb ones.

hey guy...ii can't get from my micro cube a good distortion sound!!! how can i do? Settings?

I think the Microcube is ok for home playing, but if you want to play with a band buy something more powerful ;)
So if you are going to play in your home go for the micro, you won't be disappointed! Bye and Merry Xmas

you can put an acoustic/electric on a micro cube and put it on r-fier and get the same sound

Sweet lead riffs buddy. Sounds like you recorded your warmup routine, haha

can the micro cube be louder than drums? really loud drums? as in, can it play in a band and all, not gig, just practicing with a band
chevron34 3 years ago
No, micro cube cannot be louder than drums, even a not very loud one...I tried once, but it was impossible to hear me playing ;)

What pickups are you using on that guitar they sound awesome. I want to buy your set-up - how much?
EuropeFactor 3 years ago
They're Gibson P-94 humbucker, I think you can buy the set in some shop...;)
angusyoung5 3 years ago
Thanks for the info. Why did you choose the white guitar? Does the ebony fingerboard give better sustain?
EuropeFactor 3 years ago
Well, I don't think ebony give better sustain actually, but I prefer it estetically, if you know what I mean ;) Ebony give a thighest sound, rosewood is more warm!

How do you play fast on a les paul, u set action low, below shop stnd?
vigilantgnome 3 years ago
Hi, not really, I set action higher than shop stnd I think, I prefer an action little higher, strings sounds better ;)
angusyoung5 3 years ago
lies! :P
vigilantgnome 3 years ago
what do you mean? les paul's action is incredibly low, it is easy to play fast on a les paul. Learn your guitars asshole
