I do believe that Matt McKenzie has one of the most epic voices around.

I just wish he was in more games/movies/animes.

Frankly, in my opinion the Japanese counterpart got nothing on him. :P

It's still great, but Matt's voice is just unique.

DiMaggio is also exceptional as always.

I think this is one of the few games where the english dub is comparable (if not in some cases even better) to the Japanese one. So many great dubbers.

In any case, it sure is the last FF I truly enjoyed.

I hope they that for the remake they will use the original VA records. It's ten years and actors got little old, they wouldn't sound same. It's true the recording studios do wonders, but I do want them to hear them the same as I did years ago... Take James A. Taylor in Dissidia for example, Tidus sounds more older, not 17-year old boy. Just my opinion though.

all the voice actors for both English and Japanese are incredible. Although, I will say that Koda Kumi as Lenne is just far too hard to replace with an English voice actress. That voice is amazing.

omg Tidus and auron got the best VA's in Japanese Auron is voiced by Hideo Ishikawa who also voices Itachi from Naruto and Ukitake from bleach and Tidus's VA Masakazu Morita is Ichigo! FFX is way better than VII. Sorry FF7 fans I dont mean to bash!

I think both FFX and FFVII are great and beautiful games. Both made me cheer, both made me cry, and both made glad I played and finished the game. :) They both have fantastic stories and music, graphics and voices aside. I love both games and am glad I've had the oppurtunity to play both of them. ^ ^

@cougher989 why compare FFVII to FFX? I love them both, and theres no need to compare them. They were both great for very different reasons, comparing them is a waste of time. I personally just wish everyone would enjoy them both without comparing one to the other. doing that ruines great games.

Well I didn't start the comparison. But people always do it... anyways, the only way anyone might consider FF7 to be better is because of nostalgia and sentimental value. Otherwise, FFX has 7 beat on every aspect.

@cougher989 oh ok. well I would agree with u usually, except for the fact that that wasn't the case for me. I know most people played VII when they were young which is why they might prefer it. I'm 17 tho and I just played and beat it last year. Its cuz I learned of it sort of from Kingdon Hearts and when I got older it peeked my intrest. This year I play and beat X, I rly enjoyed both. I prefer VII when it comes to story and characters, but I did like it in X too. Just my preference.

@cougher989 oh and it might also be cuz I thorughly enjoyed Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. I do wish they made something like that for X. X-2 I didn't really enjoy, except for some of the scenes like the good ending. but ya I realize people always do that and it just gets annoying to me sometimes. Its still Final Fantasy and I find something to love about each of them. There wasn't any that dissapointed me so far except XIII in some ways.

The fact that they made a movie about it just shows that there's a massive amount of FF7 fanboys. If anyone says FF7 (which FOR SURE lacks voice acting, has worse graphics, and has worse audio quality) is better than FFX, then they're simply biased. In technological terms, everything is better in FFX. Some aspects remain debatable, like the story/plot and soundtrack, but in my opinion, FFX still wins all categories.

No RPG is too good that 'cant be touched' by ff7. You're probably too young and didn't enjoyed FF7 when it was released. I love both but the lack of overworld map in FFX was a huge letdown. Believe me, they're both wonderful games but no rpg can surpass FF7

You could say I'm young, but I'm old enough to realize ignorance when I see it. So many people claim FF7 was the best, but I say look at the storyteling, music, presentation, and character development... not to mention graphics - FFX has FF7 beat everywhere. Of course it's all thanks to the technological advances, but technology or no technology, better is better. And notice I didn't mention the plot, because that I agree is debatable.

Well i've played ff3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 so I guess I know what I'm talking about.

The only thing I agree ffx is better is graphics, for the rest is a matter of taste and I think ff7 is better in most aspects.

While all characters in FFx were there just to protect Yuna and shit every character on FF7 had their own reasons and their past had a little space in the plot. Chocobo breeding, some rare materia, 'hidden' characters, lots o mini games (gold sauce), exploration

Sure, you know what you're talking about, now try to understand what I'm saying. Here's my point - yes there are things that will be up to opinion, but like I said - with the difference in technology, FFX has FF7 beat in critical aspects such as storytelling and presentation. Not to mention that it was the first FF with voice acting (and it was good imo). Together, these already put FFX on another level. Let's see a FF7 remake on the same technological level, then we'll talk.
