TV networks don't really care how good a show is, they just care if the show has high ratings. Sadly, Freaks and Geeks had "low ratings" which is why it was cancelled after one season. It's like networks always get rid of the good shows, but keep bullshit on the air.

I miss the show "Freaks and Geeks" so much. In 2000, NBC was first in the Nielsen ratings when NBC stupidly (!) cancelled this awesome show. It's cosmic justice that NBC is now always last in the Nielsen ratings, for cancelling a quality show like "Freaks and Geeks". May NBC never rise out of the cellar of Nielsen ratings until they undo the injustice of cancelling "Freaks and Geeks".
