  • Its a bit scary.

  • Holy fuck!

  • number 9

  • still better than dubstep

  • Holy shit, this is actually an amazing song. It feels like a really terrifying fever dream.

  • WTF is this????? im jk Its not bad...

  • This is Tzeentch's favourite song.

It's funny because his sacred number is 9, and his voice is said to drive you insane.

  • This is my favorite track on double White. Yeah, no kidding. I find this song terrifying like no other for reasons I find hard to explain. The odd mesh of sounds just really serves to freak me out! Actually, the reversed version of this song is the scariest thing I've heard in my life by far. Regardless, there is such little in the way of music that's actually able to bring the feeling of terror to me, and I find that feeling incredibly interesting and unique. So good on ya John!

  • what were the beatles thinking! this is made for nightmares

  • omg, u should try listening to this with headphones, it just swims around your head

  • It's like they took one of those bad dreams where nonsensical things repeat over and over and over and over (the ones you get when you have a fever), and turned it into sound. Just when you get to a part that you think makes sense, it just repeats and delves back into the same mental whirlpool as before. Some bits are also terrifying for reasons that I can't put my finger on!

  • Why did I just listen to this?!

  • EL DORADO !!!

  • this is my actual favourate song

  • @7dark7shadow mine too! not only is it my favorite song but i think its the best beatles song too

  • I feel like im one of those cartoon caracters who gets knocked out and starts falling thru space

  • yeah, it's a trip report and it does somehow convey a flavour of the weird shit that goes on inside your head to the outside world but fuck knows you won't fully understand until you are actually parliphoneously TRIPPIN....gnow warra mean?

  • Put on the headphones, darken the room and be alone,,it will ravage your senses!!!!

  • Wow. Never listen to this while high in a public place. Wow.

  • It feels like before you are born, but becoming a part of this realm. I love it.

  • Between 5:10-5:39 It sounds like a nuclear war and everybody is scrambling for cover.

  • can someone send me a link with lyrics...that i can follow because i can barely hear the people talking towards the middle

  • some say if you listen to the song backwards or something it has something to deal with paul's or john's car crash.

  • I'm scared to listen past 2:07... BUT IMMA DO IT!

  • It is a little bit scary but so magical at the same time......

  • political apathy no.9.....political apathy no.9.....etc.

  • Its funny how The Bealtes' weakest release is more entertaining than most of the music people release these days?? I thought it was pretty entertaining while listening to it!!!!

  • this is one of the most special tracks that ever made... it's creepy and strange and a lot of secrets.... it's very wierd to think about the making of this and the process of the song...

  • @orr971 It's just a sound collage. You record a bunch of different sounds and splice the tape strips together. Nowadays, you can do this electronically with a program like Audacity. Nothing "weird" about it.

  • @Rosethecomposer yes it is kind of weird but I KNOW it's a sound collage... thats the whole special thing, in the days of the beatles it was very hard to do this...

  • what do they say to eachother just before the song starts ? i can hear can u forgive me but before that i can't hear it well

  • @mattlaureys ..Bottle of claret for you if I'd realised. I'd forgotten all about it, George, I'm sorry.

    -Well, do next time.

    -Will you forgive me?

    -Yes. -Cheeky bitch.

I know that somewhere in lyrics someone says "Afraid she'll die", but I don't know when. Can someone tell me?

  • It's kind of funny that in just five years, they went from Please Please Me to this song. Guess it shows just how far they went.

  • Intended to be whatever the listener imprinted on it...The first recording by a popular band to use sampling...no it's not musical in a popsong sense but it is a stunning achievement in sound and all the Beatles were involved in it's recording...if you have any doubts listen to the voices.

  • 3:49 Tay Zonday

  • You become naked?

  • This is a great song.A must hear,at least once.High if possible. Its ahead of its time, and not just noises.Somehow its held together by bits of music and sounds.Again, The Beatles were breaking boundries.

  • chingonsísimo!

  • Mescaline amplified this for me....thanks for being there to plug in the original version....

  • High quality. 240p.

  • @subkz Video quality has nothing to do with audio quality......

  • @MagnuSSungaM Meh, higher quality makes better audio HEEERP DERP

  • im sober and i just tripped balls.

  • ive always like it.. it just flows like a piece of classical music

  • this isn't scary, it's just post-modernism

  • I suppose I hated Number Nine - I was only 12 back in '68 - but I have come to regard it as a seminal track, pointing forward to Scanner/Robin Rimbaud and Future sound of London. I've come to to love it dearly.

  • I have always liked it but it is more of a collage then a song.

  • I dont need sleep anyway

  • ..de fuck is this?

  • You, you become naked...

  • @choki0choko Your one game mother fucker!

  • In a weird way it does sounds like a Revolutionary song by people rioting out in the streets.

  • TMF58

    a lot of acid

  • actually John made this with Yoko. This is totally a Yoko influence like it or not.

  • I wanted this to be played at my wedding ceremony as my wife walked up the aisle; she nixed that idea pretty quick but I still like the profound nature of it. I am thinking about putting in my will that this played during my funeral!

Have a great serious day! ;)

  • @johntrlhkr Oh my god, that it the perfect picture. I'm not kidding you. That would be one hell of a wedding.

  • GOD STOP IT!!!

  • What was John smoking when he made this?

  • @TMF58

    yoko-ono helped :)

  • @TMF58 herion

  • @earthiscalling18 It's HEROIN, not HERION. Dumb people annoy me.

  • this shxxxt was too slow , Mccartney was right

  • The other Beatles may have hated it but it ranks up there with the most experimentally innovative things they produced. Too bad John's muse dried up faster than a fish in Death Valley once he and Yoko got serious.

  • @OroborusFMA george and ringo didn't hate it.

  • @OroborusFMA "..his muse dried up..." are you for real? Lennon did a lot of his best stuff after The Beatles split.

  • @OroborusFMA Paul only hated it because he'd done similar stuff before John did, but never commercially released it, so John unfairly gets the credit of being the experimental one.

  • this was the impetus for the manson / tate-labianca murders. "rise" at 2:40 was written in blood on the wall at the labianca crime scene.

  • the medium is the earfuck

  • the medium is the massage

  • wierdest thing ever. im hearing this on 9-9..

  • what just happened to my ears?????

  • john is taking the audience through an audio only acid trip.

  • i love 5:13 - 5:34

  • thank you for starting it at the conversation and not at the piano riff, where everyone else starts it.

  • This is scary guys!!!

    but i love it!!! XD

  • It was a joke

  • happy 9-9-9 everyone!!!

  • i love the first minute and a half or so then it goes downhill

  • Will this be on the New Beatles Rock Band?

  • wow thanks for this, such good quality!
