Dave, I love your vids and i fabricate alot of things based on your ideas with my own flare . I would like to see you wear some more safety items though . Noone wants welders flash that hurts like H*%*
Hi, I've had a comment about welding without a mask , this is a common practice and is used by fabricators everywhere give or take a few, obviously we all close our eyes, the light from the arc burns skin like the suns rays, If your unlucky to have a flash (arc eye)it's like sand in your eyes, you will make shure it will not happen again, a welders cap is ideal dip your head when you tack weld the peak will shield you eyes and face, use a instant darkening face mask, use sun block on face.
agreed dave but instead of getting the hand held mask why dont you get the flip down one with one nuge down it flips down £9.99 in screwfix and will save your sight in the long term
hey dave, i thought your chair was so cool i just had to make my own version as a valentines present for the wife, i'll post a video response in a few days when the paint's fully dried. it's not exactly the same but based on the same chassis, i think you'll like it.
Hi vutEwa, try a course at college first to see if you like it, you'll get good advice and if you it, then buy some tools but start with simple things first, thanks dave.
Hi,thornwarbler, the first video was to show how bend & manipulate steel useing sipmle tools,(wrought iron jig set)then the wine rake& chair, comining soon how to make a malti fuel burning stove from an old abandond propane gas cylinder, Im trying to show from simple tools, how to use your imagaintion and develope basic fabrication skills.thanks from dave.
