@CSXandSpartanfan33 you would only see those engines used as helpers for a UP or BNSF train. CSX doesn't operate their trains down here in the SW.

My mom would take CalTrain from Hillsdale Station to San Francisco where she'd go to work. This was when the family was living in Foster City. But I really want to come home to the San Francisco Bay Area.

JM: The Bay Area is high crime, over crowded and over priced. You get MUCH more for your money, anywhere else than the SF area. A person's standard of living is MUCH worse in the bay area compared to almost anywhere else in America. Homes in the bay area are over priced by at least 300 percent. Anywhere in CA, homes are overpriced by at least 40%. It's just not worth it. Vacation in CA, then go back to your nice home.

ill tell you what, going from sacramento to san jose has plenty of trains! i saw three is that small stretch!

Three???? trust me, from a Sacramento native, that is not all that great, usually you could see as many as 15 trains between here and Oakland, because of the Amtraks plus how many freights there are

I caught it earlier this year in February, and posted a video of it, if you are interested. They are running much less frequent than before, and harder to catch.

O my gawd!!!! I used to hang out at Watsonville, Elkhorn, Aromas, UP's Coast Line all the time when I lived in california prior to moveing out of state!!!! DANG!!!! This is amazingly hard core that this vid takes place in my old territory. I have lots of vids from that Coast Line area on my youtube account. 5 stars!!!!!
