Apparently dota 2 hook dont work the same way dota 1 hook did.I mean in dota1 when pudge hooks the target then target will go for sure for the place when the hook was casted not like dota 2 when the target go to the position of pudge.

Uhm, this isn't a bug. Chen ported pudge back then the hook was pulling them in. It works like this in dota aswell.

Was chen's ability to target someone and send them back to town. It has a couple second delay before it happens... in that time though the hook obviously triggered the spells need to return it to wherever the hero is instead of the remained of the hook attached in terms of distance. Its an awesome bug but will likely mean a remake for the code for hook shot.

@KwiQQer They will probably change it to where hook shot pulls you to current location off pudge as a variable when hit by hook shot--and no use pudges location reference variable...aka get pudges location freeze the value move target hit by hook there.

@spider606 no they'll probably make it so the hook only pulls a certain amount of distance (still long enough to be effective in normal use) and the hooked target will just stop after traveling x distance
