New rule is that if the puck is in between your feet/legs it's considered an interference which makes since he doesn't actually have possession of the puck yet it's just near him. I don't think it deserved a game misconduct but it's definitely an interference for sure.

@Lotsoffun111 control doesn't matter, this isn't football, the puck is within reach and he is looking for it... therefore it is a legal hit and no interference. He didn't leave his feet until after the hit which is also legal, also the hit to the head was shoulder to head and back in 09 that is a totally legal hit as this season is the first in which any contact to the head is penalized.

This hit was clean. Kronwall's feet were on the ice at time of impact, Kronwall's shoulder makes contact with Havlat's head because it was down.
